Hello, I will be leaving all of my factions and will try to avoid Rp section of forums as much as possible. I will be playing indi. The reason of leaving Rp section is that it isn't really Rp we are having here atm. People make 95% decisions on OORP friendships and stuff. I really got sick of it now. No matter what you but in end the result will be on OORP hate and friendships. I have really learnt a lot from here. Some members of community are nice like anomander, Shinju, Scarlet, Lady Red, Tummy , Pammyand some more but rest of old ones are same.
You can ignore reality but you can not ignore consequences of ignoring reality
Learn to make more friends than enemies. And then, suddenly, most of your RPs would end exactly how you want.
But, of course, being buddies with staff is best.

Hey, man.
You know, when I joined in 2008, it also took me a while to learn how the overall RP on Disco works. I went through the anti-faction (Or rather no-faction) phase just like you are going to go through now. I saw other people do the same, so if anything- it is more or less a healthy thing to do. I enjoyed my indie-only phase a lot, really.
Some people go back to enjoying factions, once they make enough friends on their indies, start flying in groups with said friends and soon enough- realize that it is exactly the thing they left the factions for. Just that this time they were involved in said friends moreso than before.
Every member on Disco needs to go through this, really. The Rogs will miss you, but if you need this to better understand Disco, go for it.

I mostly enjoy playing as an indie too, it's just so much easier and there's less to worry about.
You can try to find a faction where you "feel at home", it's alright to apply for a few different ones and check them out, so you can see if you like them.
Leaving skype off for a month can also help you find enjoyment in the game.
When you log in, the most important part is that you are doing it for yourself, and that you are logging in to have fun.
A sad thing to see, Osama. I hope things will end up being okay for you.
The amount of ignorance in the community is actually a bit saddening. I hate to personalize things too much, however I feel that people pick on you merely because of the language barrier, when you're actually a pretty cool dude in my book. Oh well, good luck out there.
