I'm doing a bit of planning for a new character, a gallic revolutionary who targets those trading with or from Gallia instead of taking on the navy/police. Naturally the Council was the obvious choice, however the ID is a tad vague on non-gallic entities, this line in particular:
Quote:The Council is a large revolutionary movement in Gallia who want to overthrow the Gallic monarchy and install a republic. They prefer to not attack civilian targets. The Council is allied with the Maquis and the Brigands.
Pilot carrying this unlawful ID is a member of the Council, who:
Can demand contraband and levy fines within their Zone of Influence, and attack if ships refuse to comply. Can attack unlawfuls, quasi-lawfuls and ships which belong to a house or organisation considered hostile by the Council within their Zone of Influence.
Can defend allied or neutral ships and bases within their Zone of Influence.
Can escort traders within their Zone of Influence.
Cannot participate in unlawful actions except as described above.
Zone of Influence: Gallia, Gallic Borderworlds, Taus, Bretonia
Allowed ships: Fighters, Freighters, Transports, Gunboats, Cruisers, Battleships.
Would the Council consider those trading with Gallia as hostile organisations? (the friend of my enemy, is my enemy) I imagine they would at least be targetable for fines or goods confiscation, what better way to undermine the Royalists than to deprive them of much need capital and resources?
It's a bit of a problem as the character idea I have isn't a pirate (which rules out Brigands/Pirate ID) nor is it a terrorist (Marquis gone) so any insight or advice would be most welcome.
It's a pretty broad term to use if they can only attack GRN and GRP, does it refer to whomever the official faction deem hostile such as the Outcasts or can it by applied to those who help fund the Royalist campaign? Hence the request for clarification.
