Really weird, i yust read a post about metagaming, then i yust finished my view on it, then it wasnt there anymore.
But yust for fun i post my answer to this now imaginairy thread.
Your post is fun to read especially the first picture with your statement to moderator.
I guess these things happen, that a BMM guy, jumps on his Molly pirate ship because he knows you yust have a full cargo of ore. Really good pic, nice info, fun, even if it sucks ofcourse, lol.
I think it's troublesome and problematic, cause where starts and stops metagaming....
I know everybody looks on "long range scanners"......................................
So if i am on a coderunner vhf and i see a pirat in Kyushu i wont fly my oretransport out of Tau23.
Obviously, most players would say, but the lines between metagaming are very thin...

Generally speaking re-opening locked threads is a bad idea. Presumably it was turned invisible due to trial by forum. You might want to PM the above to the guy instead.
That said, I did find it hilarious how rude the guy was being in his reply, and even funnier that he wasn't even hassling the right type of staff. Moderators deal with forums. He wanted an admin instead.
basically, when a person defaults to posting anything in flood, that person doesn't really consider the topic they post worthy of anything other than random off topic spam.
Metagaming isn't about ooRP knowledge about something. Metagaming is using that knowledge in game, like in your roleplay.
I accidentaly did that just once, but it was straightened up by other player and overlooked, since I didn't really know that group X may not know about things done by Y.
