"512, January 21. It was an especially harsh winter on Planet Hamburg; the skies were filled with the heroic fight of wind and a blizzard, embracing the distance within their gasp. The streets were filled by not only the pale destruction of nature, but the families of thousands of disappointed workers, oppressed by the inhumane conditions Republican Shipping forced them to tolerate" - a slightly overweight man throws away a maroon-colored hardcover book.
"History is BORING" - the man leans back, pistol in hand. He combs into his neglected, red hair with his hand, continuing towards his stubble. His ragged, gray coat hangs back from the chair, on it is the symbol of the Unioner movement in red. He tries to maintain a gentlemen-like attitude, but his face betrays that in fact, the man is a lunatic.
"Let's be honest here! EVERYONE heard about the Unioners. We're the descendants of angry workers who rebelled against the oppressive Republican Shipping and their lackeys 300 years ago. Frankly, we're too far gone to care about any pitiful revolution or any social agenda. Today, we are all but businessmen and just like Republican Shipping, we do everything in our power to maximize profit!"
A sadistic grin appears on the man's face.
"We smuggle. We loot. We kill. Our methods may be a bit extreme.... probably even more extreme than the Red Hessians or the Corsairs, but we are a successful enterprise, because our 'business partners' are given a choice: Either they do what we want, or we blow up their ships and burn their families."
The man raises his pistol, his eyes illuminated by aberrant pleasure.
"And I..... I am simply known as "Der Schakal". People have taken up a tendency of calling me the "leader" of this band of brigands and frankly, I like that title. It is truly a pleasure to make your acquaintance."
The man pulls the trigger.
Synopsis:
The Unioners are a radical terrorist organization composed of the descendants of unemployed shipyard workers in Rheinland who revolted against Republican Shipping 300 years ago. The modus operandi of the group changed radically when a man known as "Der Schakal" and his followers took over its leadership in a coup d'état in 821 A.S., shifting the revolutionary group's aim towards 'business' terrorism. Since then, the Unioners engage in acts of torture, murder, arson and kidnapping, throwing aside the political agenda they once pursued and continuing one of being simple brigands operating with twice the brutality, caring only about getting rich.
Der Schakal's leadership also reopened ties with the Corsairs, earning the ire of the Bundschuh and in part, the Red Hessians as well.
The Unioners' current objectives are:
-Looting shipping vessels, both foreign and domestic
-Establishing control over the smuggling routes through Hudson and Bering, pushing the Xenos out entirely
-Assisting the Corsairs in their advancement to Frankfurt
-Establishing an artifact smuggling route from the Omicrons to Liberty, in addition to maintaining the Blood Diamond route
-Establishing a foothold in Texas
-Getting rich by killing and looting

Also, I need someone to volunteer to be a 2iC. I need a person who doesn't necessarily do forum work, but concentrates on establishing the faction's presence in-game. Making smuggler convoys, raids and patrols would be his or her main task. I also require constant activity, not just a log in once a month from him or her.
The reason for that is that I don't have enough time to play the game itself, as I work 12 hours a day and when I get home, I need to live a family life. I have forum and Skype access from work, but I need help with constantly maintaining our presence in-game, since I have limited capacity to do so right now.
One of the most important aspects of leading a faction is being able to have an in-game presence. The write-up looks okay, but I don't think this is going to work if the person who wants to lead doesn't have time to play the game. The post sort of looks off too, you're essentially saying "I want to lead this faction, but I don't have time to. I'm going to need someone to do all the work for me."
It might just be better for you to focus more on slightly smaller projects and your life. Once the schedule clears a bit, maybe revisit this idea and pick it back up. Otherwise, I don't think this attempt will last long.
@TheProphet, I'm not saying I won't have time to lead the faction, I'm saying I need assistance, since I cannot devote my entire day to leading a faction like I used to back in the day. I still will log frequently enough, but I cannot do everything alone.

You did actually say that you wouldn't have time to play the game itself. The 2iC position should have also probably been decided before you posted this. It seems like a rather demanding thing, and you'd ideally need someone who likes the idea as much as you do and who you could trust.
I still hold my opinion that this probably won't last, and that you should focus on smaller things while your schedule is so jam-packed. Regardless, I'll be pretty happy if I'm proved wrong and we get an actual criminal group in Rheinland ala Liberty Rogues.
