Hey I have been using the Raptr stuff that comes with my gpu and it works great, I can press a button and store the last 10 minutes of gameplay.
It doesn't seem to work with Disco though. I've manually added Discovery to the software, and an overlay does show when I launch the game, but when I press the button to store a highlight it doesn't do anything.
Is there something similar out there that works with Disco where I can save highlights or do I need to get software where I press a record button before being able to save gameplay from disco?
Thanks! Will it let me record "replays", ie. can I load it up every time I play and just hit a button after something exciting happened, and it will store a video replay of the last 10-15 minutes of gameplay?
Shell out for an Nvidia GPU and use shadowplay. Can use either manual capture that captures from press to press or the automatic recorder, which keeps recording in the background - useful if something unexpected happens and you are going "Damn, I wish I was record....oh, I was. Lel."

PSA: If you have been having stutter/FPS lag on Disco where it does not run as smoothly as other games, please look at the fix here: https://discoverygc.com/forums/showthrea...pid2306502

Will shadowplay let me record Disco? Can I use it on an AMD GPU? I have a similar programme by AMD, but I can't get it to work in Disco but it works flawlessly in other games. Does anyone have experience with the AMD / Raptr thing (I'm not gonna go buy a Nvidia card any time soon)? Are there other third-party programmes that can do this? Thanks for the advice.
Dxtory can also record and with the right settings it's smooth and high quality.
There are some guides out there that will tell you what settings you need for the best result.
Does your AMD recording program work on other older games? Shadowplay ceases to work for me when I start Freelancer in windowed mode or switch to windowed mode in the game. Freelancer in fullscreen always works. Maybe your recording program only works only on fullscreen applications as well (borderless windowed might work, but I'm not sure)?
