This is the most infuriating thing I have ever seen. For a while, whenever I bought commodities, I would be usually kicked. I would rejoin right after, to see my cargo and credits have been reverted to before I docked. I'd go and do what I did on the planet again, and usually the second time it works.
However, today something else happened.
I was trading, and being kicked every once in a while, but then I was kicked twice in a row. When I tried to get back on, I was banned.
Before I was banned, each time this happened, I briefly saw "Possible Cheating Detected", followed by my character name before I get booted to the the menu.
My character's name is "Dumpberger". I am a trader, and have barely engaged in any PvP fights.
I'm using a fresh install of both Freelancer and Discovery Freelancer, and I have never modified the .ini files (unless the game itself modified them, e.g perfoptions.ini in the My Games/Freelancer folder).
Before I got banned, some person told me it was because I was clicking too much while I was docked. I have a weird mouse that double clicks sometimes, maybe even triple clicks.
My Discovery Launcher options are:
-Chat log on
-Append logs on
-Log time on
-Log with local time off
-Windowed mode off
-Use desktop resolution on
-Show flight text on
-Show lag icon on
-Show joining players on
-Show leaving players on
-Hide unofficial servers off
I have around 150ms ping on average, and very little lag or loss.
I really need help with this, if this is a bug on the mod's and/or server's end, this should be fixed immediately.
Hey there.
If you wana get admins attention a bit more efficiently then go to the top and click "player help" and the "accounts banned"
Post there for admin help. that is where it usually goes
Edit: woops . Looks like you posted there too. Ignore what I said then
I asked about this earlier when I was logging my transport. He apparently put off doing a clean install of Disco when I told him that it would probably do the trick.
There's a bug in the game engine when if you have a bit of latency -and- the possibility of multiclicking very quickly you could get more than the expected amount of items (worked for stacking guns on the same slots too). It can't be fixed because we don't have access to the game engine but it's now prevented by the anticheat.

I know, I have already done that and I'm waiting now for them to see. I posted this here to give more details instead of making a really, really long post inside of the accounts banned section.

So I just have to somehow find a way to not accidentally double/triple-click with the mouse?
