I'm at work so I can't look into this, but what account info? Like all sorts of personal information?

I tried to logout all sessions of Steam, and I saw someone's last digits of their credit card, and their real name and country (England).
I immediately backed out.
On Steam Mobile App.

I wasn't able to log into Steam using the web client.. and just now the BootStrapper crashed and my phone app shut down. No way to log in.

I saw email addresses, names, purchase history, last 4 of their payment method and of their phone numbers.
I use plural because it gave me multiple accounts just refreshing the app to try and sign out of my account.

I can see their Steam wallet balance, purchase history, their contact info (email, phone number), and saved credit card but all the digits are *'s except for the last couple. It seems like I can access and change any of this but I'm not going to try

Valve is completely silent about this, but the steamdb guys are helping out. Please read below to have a better understanding of the situation, or check steamdb's twitter. https://twitter.com/steamdb
As a safety tool for those that wish to keep their account locked but still play their games. Here's a tip
On your steam interface, go to the top corner and click Steam. Then click Go Offline. This will take your whole account off the net of steam entirely. I do this when I stream non-multiplayer games for more privacy reasons. However it is also rather useful when needed as a failsafe of sorts.
Also another fair warning, as I know this is how several Call of duty games work, the ones off steam anyways. Tread carefully when using some of the games, as some of them run off steam servers, I personally know Black Ops 2 itself gets its data directly from steam's servers and sites. I have several times gotten problems from stuff like this when just playing some other games that gets data from steam.
I feel like I should bring this to peoples attention, from what people have gathered, its a apparently a bunch of hackers showing publicly how bad Steam's security is.
Verified that my steam store page is working. But I wouldn't go around trying to buy anything yet, just for the sake of being safe.

Regarding that, I'm a bit surprised because K acknowledged that Steam were "smart" about it, compared to Mojang, Xbox & Playstation.
(Odd use of indirect object.)
Script Kiddies claim responsibility for downtimes just like how terrorists claim responsibility for flight accidents. I'm not saying there's no possibility of it being hackers, but I would take such claims with a pinch of s-alt.
