Quote://Since a few issues experienced by the {343} in the past, we have decided that every operation that we conduct will be considered an official faction event. This thread will be edited every time we conduct an operation, an hour in advance.
why do people keep thinking it's april's fools day

As mentioned already, the intention is to make every planned logging of 343 (you know, when we assemble via the skypechats and such) an event.
Well, again, (just as example) IMG| can make mining/convoy events just in the same way. Jack will poke his chat, IMG| will log and avoid any interaction that they don't like for whatever reason and sanction anyone. You have posted really giant list of those that you don't want to see before any actual RP. So basically blocking all kusarian and some borgering indies (yet) without a single line of RP written, I don't know how to feel about it. So this is the precedent of the official faction blocking whole indie activities whenever they logged to avoid the interactions using the event system. Sorry, Char, I don't want to be that guy, but that looks really lame.

There's really not much to be said except for that, @Shiki
Can be made, or can be not. Don't get me wrong, I can see the benefit of the 343 that comes from it, but it will impact obviously low Kusari activity in general even more.
If you can see the benefit for 343, there's not much more to be added. I have stated a few times that I really don't have a problem with making exceptions. I'm the last person to deny Roleplay, and if anything, this solution here doesn't appeal to me either, but it's really the only one I can think of.
Aside from that, don't believe that we didn't try otherwise. You as former leader of Sisterhood should be aware of the predicament we're facing.

Well, then I see it as abuse of faction rights. Not that I'm going to report it, but people will, I guarantee you that.
I can understand your stance, and as stated previously, I do not take this decision lightly, neither do I like it. But given the circumstances, it's the only possibility that remains.

Elaborate please. As you said lower you are facing the problems that you don't want to face so you are using the event system. Lack of the problems is used to be the benefit or I've missed something? You are a good faction leader if trying to win the benefits for your factions, no one will ever complain about it. The methods are quite questionable, that is the problem.

I do indeed, but that's not the solution. Personally I won't face any problems with this 'events', since I don't have unofficial faction/indie ships in Kusari.
So, you're going to turn every time your faction logs in into an event, just so you can avoid interaction with indies? That is really harmful to a lot of people who might actually want to log their Kusari-based characters. As Zayne said, this is just a means of abusing faction rights, and I'm inclined to agree. If you have a problem with a certain group of players, speak to an admin about it. Don't outright deny any chance of interaction with indies by use of FR4. That's just... I don't even have any nice things to say about it. It's stupid. It's harmful to other peoples enjoyment in the region, especially if you use this as an opportunity to become very active without fear of running into something hostile. Not everyone is going to be an official that you run in to.
On one side I see why they want this as obviously there is a group of people that hunt them down relentlessly for whatever reason, on the other I see the potential abuse towards people who simply encountered them and mean no oorp harm.
