That doesn't nullify my point, since you only contacted the RHA with a clear intention of helping their base.

you were in bering deciding to jump one lonely LH.
That would have been fair, if the LH was mentioned as "Allies" or "Friendly" before that skirmish.
Quite frankly I'm getting the feeling that this is just like another incident that occured before [-x-]

Asking for a friend.
Technically - yes.
In fact it is a little bit more complicated than that. We maintain neutrality towards all internal/external conflicts which are not our own and that includes Enclave-Bretonia conflict.
For example there was a fight in Leeds several days ago between Enclave and BAF and we (I and other HC member) decided to stay out of that. InRP - because we are currently not interested in poking our noses in other people businesses, ooRP - to keep fight balanced as it was pure snub PvP and I was in a anti-snub GB.
Basically, if they don't harass us - we don't care about them. Still, this is subject to change.
If Aux has nothing to offer Bretonia against its enemies the your forces are expected to leave Bretonian systems unless guarding a trade convoy for example.
There is debate of if Leeds is a Bretonian system but this is purely a rule issue, and player RP does not correlate.

why do you have to talk about it in feedback instead of talking about it inrp?
i know qualities of Bretonian playerbase seems to be dropping in general, but come on... the same things could be discussed inrp in much more natural way.
I like how this faction comes back for one interaction to save an LH fighter from a missile gunship and the results are catastrophic amounts of bitching from players who’ve ragequitted the game after doing the same thing.
