The Jotunheim was constructed in the year 820 A.S. to serve as an addition to the Rote Hessen Armee fleet in the fight against the Corsairs and the Rheinland Military. Her building process was not different from the process of any other Jormungand ship, except that the Jotunheim was being infiltrated already when it was constructed, the undercover agent Ernst Schrohlingen of the Marinenachrichtendienst has made his way up in the Armee and managed to get the control over the Jotunheim to minotr Red Hessian activities. The ship has been equipped with special surveillance software to spy on its own people, a process, that nobody apart from him was aware of. Back then, Lena Riemann was only an employee of the ship and didn't suspect Schrohlingen of being a traitor, just like anybody else within the Hessians and the ship. Ernst was known to be a rather good ship commander as he helped the Hessians with several operations that would normally not have been done by normal spies, Schrohlingen was a master on his level.
The betrayal:
The Jotunheim
In the mid of a Battle between the Fleet of the Hessians and the Militär, Ernst changed his site and turned the ship to the flagship of the Brigadegeneral. He auto-opened fire on the ship and Lena had no control over the weapons anymore. She ran to him and first tried to choke, then punch him, which she did and he fell unconscious. In the moment where nobody was able to steer this ship, it got in the front line of the fight and received many shots. She was able to move the ship out of the crossfire and docked it on Wolfsburg-Shipyard in Omega-54. Without a Commander she took the ship as her own and new mobile home. Since then, Lena installed new hardware as well as software and gave the ship open to more people who need work. It was thriving and seemed perfect, although Lena had no prior experience with Battleships, she learned fast, being able to operate almost everything if she needs to. the crew, which remained the same after Lena took over the ship, loved her for being kind and yet strong minded in her beliefs as well as her Orders, she was known for a kind behavior which made it really enjoyable to just sit and talk with her. She was also known for going crazy in a fight and being really serious and sometimes angry.
Almost destroyed:
The Jotunheim manages to arrive at Wolfsburg Shipyard
just before collapsing
In 823 A.S. the Rheinwehr and the Red Hessians clashed on each other in the Stuttgart system, this event is known as the "Red mist", the Rheinwehr and the Hessians both gathered a big front consisting of several capital ships, Lena and the Jotunheim were also present. The whole fight went over hours, heavy losses for both sides, the Jotunheim managed to survive to the very end of the fight, being one of the last capital ships that were still able to fight the enemy forces. Just as the Jotunheim tried to turn to the side, it was hit heavily by a Bismarck-class battleship, the ship shot a heavy mortar and landed a direct hit, shortly followed by missiles and heavy cannons. The Jotunheim was heavily damaged and barely made it to Wolfsburg for emergency repairings. The Hessians had to retreat and lost the fight, the Jotunheim received the necessary repairs to be able to fly again, what they didn't know, was, that the core of the ship was so damaged, that it killed the ship from the inside as time passed by, to a point, where the Jotunheim's manuals completely shut down and the software was about to be deleted. Lena saved the most important things, including the very valuable A.I. "LAUFEY" she had to see her beloved home rot in a state, where everyone counted it as unrepairable, so she collected parts to build a Scylla-class destroyer named the "Fenriswolf". This was supposed to replace the Jotunheim, she and her husband, Lukas Keller, moved in there after the Jotunheim was basically destroyed. But Lena and the engineers of the Fenriswolf as well as the engineer sof Wolfsburg worked very hard to get the Jotunheim up again, it took many months and much money but in the end, the Jotunheim was able to be repaired and get a new power core. Lena and Lukas, as well as the old crew moved back into the ship to fly it under the command of the Generalmajor.
A shame that this wonderful brick is not in service anymore but don't worry, dear Jotunheim, the one that comes after you will do a great service, i will always remember you... i will spread this file into the dephts of the space, maybe somebody finds it for historical purposes...i hope you find your peace with all the other ships that are in Valhalla...
