I haven't touched discovery on weeks, because i cant find anything else to do.
Mining is boring, and i could just make another mining character with a hegemon, mine in dublin then sell the stuff at new berlin and start getting credits like i did once before.
Pirating feels bad for me since im ruining the experience for other players (im too kind after all).
Being part of military/police in any place except of liberty is impossible because or there isnt anyone or you are totally outmatched.
Smuggling is worthless, i have traveled to malta to bring 3500 units of cardmine to manhattan, and the profit was only 25m. When rogues on buffalo base could sell it to me if it wasnt for the damn rep restriction.
Its like all of the activities on the game are simply restricted because of "fuck you, its RP" or something. I want to make activity on the server, i want to roleplay as my character, but i cant find anyone to do that, and when i find someone, its just some arsehole who wants to just get blue messages. (Liberty is full of them)
The point is to find that spark that gives you motivation to play, it was like that in my case. A character that you're interested in, a faction whose bunch you really enjoy playing with, having goals and friends tag along with you helps you immensely.
I see more and more people that are in your situation think it's a better idea to just take a break for a while, wait for the built-up salt to dissolve and come back later with fresh thoughts.
I'd recommend you try out new venues of roleplay that you haven't tried before, look for something new that might turn out fun in the end. Join a new faction, make a character that you feel like could be interesting, set up goals for your characters and try to make them true. Maybe it'll help find that spark again. ^^

Well, i actually want to make a rogue coalition character, luckly today i have my final exam so i will finally have time to dedicate time into it.
Still, i feel that there is too many factions in the game that dont serve any purpose and new players dont even know what the hell do in the game.
This is the point everyone gets to after some time.
I suggest you to concentrate on serious high-grade RP. As mentioned above - think of a character you'd like to play out, gather some ideas for your RP, and start putting effort into it. The effort and the "writing a book" feeling is what will fuel you from now on.
For instance, at some point I have started drawing illustrated stories (though gave up on them), and now I have gathered some information for scientific RP (but have no time to do science iRP, because I have to do it in real life).
The other ways I know are: hardcore characters and modelling.
And the most important: DO NOT EXPECT THE RP TO HAPPEN TO YOU. START THE RP YOURSELF! Find someone (which is relatively easy) and initiate the RP.
And you will find that you can RP absolutely well even at this low server population.
Reason: Still having that horrible dinner on the Hoffnungsschimmer in mind, Ezrael really hates Noah Xonnel for making Auxesia suspicious about Maren possibly being infected. He isn't a killer, but he really wished to crush Noah's nose for being such a prick.
Making your own faction is going to be a lot of work, try getting someone - maybe even 2 or 3 people to help you start it off first. Makes things way easier.
