Jesus.. It's been a long, long time since I've been reminded of the Kingdom days. Yeah, the ending to that story was a rough one. It was fantastic.
No matter. We'll merely get the Nomad story in general to blow up in everyone's faces. Just as good of an ending.

I think that any and all RPs that involve the cooperation or neutrality or Nomads (specifically considering Outcast-Nomad earlyDisco "neutrality" agenda) is rubbish RP. Read this.
Default Nomads are there to exterminate humans and will always do so.
HOWEVER...
I do think that humans could manipulate Nomad biology and create a "cousin race" to these aliens. Nomads, "Violet Squids", will always destroy humans, but perhaps new "Red Squids" (thinking about red human blood but they don't have to be red) can be experimentally developed by humans to combat Nomads. I'd be OK seeing that ingame I guess; pitting two kinds of aliens together: one slaves and one not slaves, essentially forcing the Nomads (Blue Squids) to undergo the same conflict that the Western Alliance and the Eastern Coalition were fighting. And perhaps we can return the favor, when our Red Squids find the Blue Squid homeworld, we can destroy their sun as well...
tl;dr-1 - Real Nomads (blue squiddies) shouldn't even be neutral or unfriendly with humans; they are there to exterminate us.
tl;dr-2 - "RP'ing aliens neutral to humans" can be fairly acceptable in FL lore if humans develop their own breed of these squiddies somehow (even if it all goes wrong later).

we were all in all it. funny its being talked about it since for so long it was retconned by certain people speaking in this thread.
Oh dont worry.
being a hypocrite isnt new here. and it wont matter. soon.
the idea of nomad separatists is repugnant and confusing but since so much of nomad lore is a blind leap past a few pdf written by chris todd and alot of self development off of one persons original idea to STEM THE CHAOS that was .83. the keepers khara and vagrants are all thier own animals and honestly shouldent be considered staples of what the nomads in "vanilla lore" should be.
really all youll get is layers of paint ont he mod you can flake off or chip away at old lore or paint over it. the issue is none of it should be lost or judged as inferrior or bad.
they were and are steps and versions of telling what people beleave the nomads to become after thier "defeat" and each idea has its place in the lore of this community.
