It was a position the willowy blonde found herself in often enough in life. Usually though, she was not lost in quite as dangerous a place as this. The Omicrons. She shivered with every meter her ship crept through space. Really, this was not a place she had meant to wind up in. The Strange sights and sounds made her jumpy already, and she seen the blue....thingies zipping by her ship often enough to be a mess of nerves.
She squeked as her ship began to rattle from multiple impacts. Something was firing at her!
She almost fell over in her chair, as she bent over the consoles. Which one had the external cameras again? She was panicking, rather badly as her vessel's hull buckled under the bolts of energy. There! A glimpse of a blue shape, rocketing past her window. She paled. Oh God. She didn't have the slightest idea on how she would get out of this.
Her Ship didn't even had gun! The nice man that had sold her insurance for her ship so cheaply (Only 15 Million Credits for the entire day) had said it'd be much easier to get her a low rate if she didn't mount weapons, so she flew defenselessly.
Just when she prepared to simply tuck into her plush filled pilot's seat, something far bigger and far....Rattly-er drove past the ship. This had two effects. On one hand, it did indeed dislodged the blue, aggressive, swarmlike things pounding her hull. On the other, the craft clipped her and sent her spinning off. Had she forgotten to disable the engine kill after her initial thrust?
Though the 'why' was not quite as important as the 'how' and the 'how' didn't compare to the 'where' exactly they were hurtling. Oh god she felt sick.
She didn't think to check the ship's scanners, otherwise she might have realized it was Corsair that had saved her. Not that her comms suite crackled to notify her of this. No, her savior had been silent, and had left just as suddenly as he or she had arrived. By the time she actually sat up right again and had her ship under control, the area was more than clear.
She huffed.
Now how would get get back out of this? She did have a destination in mind...perhaps she had gone the wrong way after all
