I was fighting a player today and he was quite a bit away from me and I couldnt get enough hits into him. So I decided to cruise up to him to get closer then wait for my ship to recharge so I can continue shooting him. Bearing in mind I would have to take hits before I could begin firing my guns.
Now I was not aware of how to operate the EK Charge Tactic until seeing Sindroms 6 year old video on it today.
But I noticed with the EK Charge Tactic your core does not instantly recharge to 100% after cruising which is what happened to me.
So I am trying to understand what happened that would cause my core to go to 100% instantly?
I was testing the EK Charge Tactic today, but could not replicate the instant recharge I experienced during my earlier fight.
The only thing I can think of that the enemy ship had which could have caused this, was a pulse turret.
What happened:
I charged up to him got within 1300m stopped cruise, my speed went down to 90 then my core recharged to 100% instantly. He was shooting pulses at me when I stopped cruising. So could this be the reason?

that's considered an exploit so don't do that.
Dont sound like an exploit to me, you cant control what your enemy will fire at you. If you cruise up to them stop and they shoot a pulse at you thats their fault if it recharges your core as you have no control over that?
