Hello to all. i wish to address some of the weapons in game because there's some of my friends that think they need to be redone since they serve little to no purpose at the moment, well lets get to it
- Transport weapons -
Its about Iron hammers, basics, faction and pirate prim turrets.
There all the same in stats but the prices differ, hence no point in buying the more expensive ones and my proposal is this
Basic turret stays the same
Iron Hammer - dmg 620/310, range and speed 825, refire 4.0 and up the energy usage a bit
Faction turrets - please make them differ slightly from faction to faction so people choose the factions that complements there style of play
Dulzian turret - Up the range to 650 m
Heavy transport turret - up the range to 850 m
- Gunboat weapons -
Some gb weapons are under powered for there energy drain and should be fixed
Gunboat Razor - dmg 19500/9750 speed 950 m/s 105k drain
Gunboat pulse cannon - It is strange that a cruiser pulse has higher velocity than a gunboat one so up the speed to 950 m/s
Solaris turret - range to 690 m since 660 is low range indeed
Cerberus gunboat turret - reduce the drain to 6000 since there no longer useful as before and increase speed to 950 m/s
Kusari gunboat missle turret - change dmg because it does less dmg than the basic one so why would anyone go for it????
Also incease all the missle damage slightly because there cap missles and do less damage then expected
Gunboat forward guns - set all speed for them to be 625 m/s since there are rarely useful at speeds of 500 and 550 m/s
Also IMPORTANT - the Bretonia gb forward gun needs nerf - 200k dmg at 1600 m/s speed ?????????????????????????????
- Other -
Light Mortar - this weapon eats too much energy for lighter cruisers, you fire one than two and you have to dodge and evade fire for 7 seconds before you can fire again. So my proposition is 900k energy per shot
Cruiser missles - also use too much energy so 600k would do fine for lighter cruisers
Liberty Siege gun - speed to 700 m/s
Mini razor - dmg 16000/8000 speed 400 m/s energy 6300
Paralyzer missle - turn rate from 0.00 to 1.00 and speed reduction to 650 m/s
Nuclear mine - increase speed to 70 m/s
Screamer mine - speed to 90 m/s
Ripper mine - speed to 95 m/s
Swatter mine - speed to 105 m/s

I'm no balance expert so I can't say much, but I'd like to point out that Churchill's FG also eats its host's entire powercore. So after a single 200k damage shot the GB's core is empty.
Also, admins have nothing to do with game balance. It's the devs that you should adress this to.

That alone got me to not even read the rest of your thread... Remember, a lot of these changes will ruin how pvp fights and the meta work... Might want to get with @Antonio and maybe he can explain things better then i can.

Light mortar dont need buff its fine, if you give 900k energy, battlecruiser will use this weapon more often and if you have stable powercore, light mortar is way more better than 2-3 cruiser cerberus
also this will give some vets more chance to kill entire snub squadron with light mortar, so don't buff light mortar
Cruiser missiles also dont need energy buff, otherwise battlecruisers will spam missiles more often and missile spam = server lag. Cruiser missiles are fine
LSC FG is fine, you can still hit battleships with current LSC FG.

GB Razor was balanced because all gunships can mount two and dual-razoring is a great bother to us snubs.

The Cerb GB turrets are the closest thing to a shotgun capital ships have. It's worthless one turret at a time, but getting hit by eight of them means something.

FWGs are fine as they are only used on caps (or are supposed to). Churchill FWG is fine as the Churchill is a Heavy Gunboat. That FWG is a Cruiser razor strapped to the front.

The LM is a sniping weapon. It shouldn't have low energy or else ships like the LABC would be able to permafire them onto the poor Valor.

There was a reason this was lowered. The LSC gun is made to hit Battleships hard, but the speed on it would make it a viable option for everything else. Trust me on this, as I did this, but LSC players would use the FWG to snipe BS, BC, cruisers, light destroyers, gunboats and even sometimes snubs. A gun that did massive damage, long range, can't be blocked/CD'd, and was near impossible to dodge was too OP. It was meant to kill only BS and the occasional unaware BC.
Ok well thanx for the input people and feel free to make your own suggestions here, maybe it gets noticed and some changes happen. It would also be nice to see more powerful weapons for all type of ships but make them expensive a s f..k, so if someone wants em, make'em like CAU7 expensive or even more
