Greetings. I'm Dr. Rachel Scott a xenobiologist curently working aboard the research vessel called The.Neumann. Not long ago we ended up stranded in the system of Omicron Mu thanks to an unstable baxter object appearing too close to our ship and us falling through it. One of your vessels the "Order|CV-Poltergeist" picked up our signal and approached our vessel. After a long talk and explanation by my fellow scientist Dr. Evan Chandler to the commander of the said vessel he allowed us to remain there untill we are able to get the ship's systems back online. Later after this happened the captain of the vessel suggested that i contact you via neural net transmission and ask you premission to be able to conduct research on nomadic remains. I would like to know what are the requirements in order to recieve this premission provided it exists.
The Order has insufficient knowledge about you to begin with.
Specify your credentials, especially who do you work for and your current and past affiliations. What kind of vessels you commandeer and what is extend of your interaction with the alien menace. What do you plan to do with this research and how it would benefit The Order and humanity as a whole. We do not hand out permissions like that lightly, as many use greatest of intentions as a cover to further interests of destabilizing Sirius sector.

Well my current affiliation is independent and neutral. I studied xenobiology on the University of Planet Cambridge then after graduation i worked there for 7 years as a teacher. Curently i'm working aboard the science vessel Neumann wich is a "Corvo" class explorer, along with 3 other lead scientists and our respected team of assistants, Dr.Evan Chandler leading the physics, astronomy section and Dr.John Clarke lead xenoarcheologist.
To answer your question regarding how this would benefit humanity and the order is a bit more complicated than a simple straight forward answer but i will try to make it as a simple as possible. My goals include a better understanding of the nomad biological structure as a whole. Curently focusing on their outer "skin" wich is de facto their armor protecting them from the harmfull enviroment of space. This with time can maybe show us how to create more efficient armor of our own or more efficient weapons against the nomads. In both cases this could be very beneficial to both your respected organisation and humanity. If we don't need that thick and heavy lairs of armor plating in general that means our ships will consume less fuel because their mass will be smaller. Or a weapon specifically designed against the nomads wich only destroys them and leaves humans intact. I believe your scientist are working on this as well.
In case you require a more specific and detailed information regarding our stance with the order i also attached it to this communique. You can find it HERE
We see no reason to interrupt study on Nomads a species. However...
Weaponization of Nomad tech is something strictly forbidden by us. Our scientists are more than capable of designing and building of weapons to bring to bear against Nomad menace. I will have to dissapoint you, but any weapon capable of laying waste to Nomads will be just about as effective in burning away flesh of other beings. Even if such weapon could've been designed, which pilot ever would equip a blaster incapable of providing any kind of offensive power projection against human threats, or even human-designed tools of war against ourselves?
Also I have to ask you to not carry any remains of Slomon K'Hara and other contraband specifically designated as such by The Order Overwatch. Full list can be found in Protectorate Code along other rules and customs we expect visitors to abide by if they wish to conduct any kind of business with The Order. I doubt you will find the list itself any particularly limiting, we are dedicated to take only the most dangerous of threats out of circulation.
As an alternative, any legitimate part of independent scientific community may study in depth the more preserved corpses of Nomads under watchful eye of The Order that provides the specimens - hunted down by us specifically. It is for civilian's own safety, for carrying remains of alien kind will attract their far more alive brethen. Order pilots are also instructed to eliminate any potential smuggling activity of shipping of such materials outside of Omicrons where they could be used for ill.
