Commodore,
As you have seen, my message to the Guildmistress was an extensive critique of O'Brien's management. I used that approach because I had to prove that her condemnation of the Core's siege of Freeport 11 was personal and not the attitude of Bretonia as a whole. I believe that O'Brien will not mind because she should already be used to such. In case that it actually causes the event in which I replace O'Brien and thus control the Armed Forces, that can only be good for you.
You are as cunning as you are deceitful, so I know where your honeyed words can take you. Do not abuse them, or else bees will come for a sting or two. As for O'Brian, she, you, myself and the rest of the board know very well that her condemnation was more political than anything else. The woman is intelligent, so I do advise you, once again, not to underestimate her. Or me.
In the past two months we have increased space patrols in the Freeport One area alongside with a heavier marine presence inside the station proper without even a beep or an outcry from the Zoner community. They are happy for us being there. How do you think it would be if she did not pursued that course of condemnation? Either way, do thread carefully with the Core.
Any organization willing to implant explosives in their trainees, that tries to ascertain their dominance against common zoners and to top it off, sells nomad remains from incursions deep in the Omicrons.. Does not play nice. And a woman that rose to the Guildmaster spot after removing not one but much likely two previous Guildmasters..
Well, greed is a great motivator, as you well know.
I will be keeping a close eye on the proceedings. If you need help or information, do ask.
For Bretonia. Commodore Kaze Nelson Reidman Dagon.
