Greetings, representatives of Interspace Commerce.
We are the Taiheiyo Consortium, a small business concern within the Gas Miners Guild hoping to expand our operations in the Sigmas. Unfortunately, due to the current political and economic climate, finding startup funds and investors has been difficult. Therefore, we have decided to contact the steafast business partners of the GMG, Interspace Commerce, for financial assistance.
We would like to apply for a loan, though before specifying an amount, we would like to see the programs your corporation offers for your loaning services.
The transmission begins, Dean is shown in an empty conference room with him sitting at the end of the table. He is wearing a well fitting suit as is common for him but his expression is a bit more tense than it usually is.
"This is about the first time I've heard of this part of your guild." He begins and picks up a datapad, glances down on it and then puts it down again.
"While honestly that isn't your fault at all I would still appreciate some sort of introduction." A comment with a neutral tone as he lifts his head in gesture showing his light confusion. Confusion at what that group was and what they wanted.
"We can certainly offer you a loan but its conditions will very much rely on what you'll tell me. What you intend do do with the funds, so to say." He is slightly moving in his seat and tapped something into the pad for a moment.
"Once we've got properly acquainted, we can talk business and depending on how big your desired loan is, we can handle this within a matter of days.
It would be our distinct honor to provide enlightenment regarding the Consortium.
Our group was formed during the Eighty Years War between our Guild and the then-Empire of Rheinland. We represent the interests of many in the Guild who feel we must solidify our control over the Sigmas and establish ourselves in a more politically autonomous and respected capacity. In short, as a state. Centralizing and consolidating power in the Sector would allow us to more effectively govern ourselves, develop the region, and ensure security for trade and travel throughout the Sigmas. With enough hard work and a little luck, we hope to colonize and develop Sigma-21, opening up a new market for Sirius corporations everywhere. With, of course, special considerations made for the Guild's respected friends.
Our diplomacy is nigh-identical to the Gas Miners Guild's usual diplomatic lines, so we expect to continue supporting IC as a valued business partner. We may even reestablish certain joint shipping ventures if you deem such cooperation as reasonable.
We look forward to continuing the special relationship between Interspace Commerce and the Gas Miners Guild.
We are very thankful for the background of your consortium. However, now it is time to move forward. Interspace Commerce would very much like to continue the special relations with the Gas Miners Guild and we are, therefore, perfectly willing to finance further growth of your business.
Thus, if you could now go into some more details on what a loan from Interspace Commerce would be used for, we can give you a rough estimate on total cost, make a risk assessment and work out the interest rate as well as start and duration of the loan.
Best regards
Jason Kelly
Chairman of Interspace Commerce
The majority of the loan would be directed towards expanding our Helium-3 trade fleet, funding our surveys and expeditions of the newly discovered Sigma-21 and Sigma-15 systems, and expanding our markets and influence in the Sector. A portion of it would be kept in reserve for financial security purposes.
We fully expect to make back whatever money we end up owing via our regular H-Fuel operations throughout Sirius.
Interspace Commerce is very aware of the financial standing of the Taiheiyo Consortium, so the question is not whether or not your loan will be granted. We still, however, need to know how much you’re planing to lend and in which time frame you’re planing to repay the loan.
If you’re unsure of any of this, feel free to request a personal appointment with a consultant. We gladly welcome you on any of our stations. If that’s not a possibility we can of course send a representative on a station of your choosing.
Best regards

The amount agreed upon by the Board of Directors is a total of about 500,000,000 Sirius Credits, sans interest of course. We will leave that up to you.
We hope to fully pay back the loan over the span of roughly two months, ideally with weekly payments. Of course, this can be negotiated further.
This sounds very reasonable, to be honest, we did expect a larger sum to be loaned, but if 500 million Sirian Credits is all you need, there needn’t be much more of a background check.
Generally such loans have a much longer duration and have an interest rate of between 5 and 15% p.A. Since you want to pay it back so quickly a flat interest of 5% seems justified, so in total 525’000’000 Sirian credits. Weekly repayments of 105 millions (5 weeks) or 87.5 millions (6 weeks) are both accepted and to be payed to IC|Invoice.
If you would give us the account of the money to be loaned to, we can proceed with the transaction.
Best regards
