I would say it really depends on WHAT you want to play.
Ask yourself these questions:
- Do you want to fight/PVP primarily?
- Do you want to RP more than shoot?
- Do you want to develop a RP-heavy char?
- Do you want to just be a nameless fighter for the cause of some big organization?
Just a few thoughts to ask yourself, because that will heavily affect what faction/group to join.
Now, to self-promote, Cryer is looking for more people to join. Unofficial now, but we'll see what happens. Want to trade? We got you. Want to RP a mad-scientist? We got you. Want to be a escort snub pilot, assisting transports? All yours. Want to hunt down Outcasts for their precious corpses? Here's your gun. Ha

Also well, all of the above. I like having multiple characters so I never run out of things to do.
So far the most time I've put in on my GMG Kamome, trekking dangerous routes in search of profit.
Have a IMG Annapurna that I've been wanting to pair up with some big transport somewhere.
Also do have an outcast Tridente that I've been wanting to try out.
Primarily medical goods (Stabiline, Pharmaceuticals, human organs, etc). I'm trying to keep trading more medical-related, but contracts for others goods may come up.
And that's good to have multiple chars. Focusing on one trait can get old after a while, so have a diverse set of characters or RP is good.

lol no
Shhhh. Custodi benefit from less Outcasts flying, so hush you. :p
Alternatively you can browse the Official Factions / Unofficial Factions lists and narrow down your focus to what appeals the most to you in terms of type, region, ID, etc. and start from there.
