It is with great enthusiasm that I announce to you the restoration of our network mainframe. The AI 'Hiderigami' has been restarted and patched through our nodes on Kyoto, and now on Hikone, through which it will be administering the network. The network is currently operating at 83 percent capacity, which will be enough to handle the initial surge of data from our field reports and cross-referencing of data from our archives.
I will take this opportunity to speak about what the future brings, and where we are headed. I have watched with great pride, how after so many years, our pilots made the renewed steps towards securing our legacy among the stars. Time has taken its toll, both on our spirit and on our spaceborne assets, but we will not allow this to hold us back. We will bring back our former glory, and restore honor to our name.
The times will be hard, and we will have to push outward, away from our home. We will court the dangers and prospects of the crow nebula in the Sigmas, and we will negotiate the treacherous space of the Omicrons. In this effort, we will be aided by our illustrious drones, the first of which are undergoing final refits as we speak, and will be ready to explore and carry goods wherever no man dares to go. But before that happens, I invite you, my brethren to take point, and initiate this expedition as soon as possible. The dangers will be many, but the rewards shall be greater.
Indeed, it will take great purity of will, and strength of spirit to feed the momentum of this initial expansion and restoration. But I have great faith, both in the guidance of our ancestors and in the unfettered courage of my brothers and sisters. I could not have asked for better companions in this time; And I know that you will do me proud. This glass, I raise to you. To your health, and to future victories and triumphs.
The train-class transport designated 'BD|WK-Ikazuchi' has been restored to proper function, and is now 70 percent autonomous, requiring only a skeleton crew to function. Further AI integration with ship systems will continue over the following weeks. The vessel is currently moored with Freeport 8. Clearance to the vessel is currently available to all Hatamoto.
My mission has passed without a hitch. I've made my way to the Omega-55 system and promptly met with the Lieutenant-Commander Mitchell, who was already waiting for me. The bow artifact was transferred to my hold, and after a brief chat, I made my way back to Kusari space via the Theta - Sigma 17 - 19 - Honshu route. The object was unloaded in the presence of the dock-master, and transferred to our scholars' facilities for inspection. Attached are black box recordings, and reference gun-cams.

[13.03.825 21:43:06] Order|Scott.Mitchell: Lieutenant Commander Mitchell, The Order Black Fleet. Welcome, Canaan confirmed your ID, Dragon.
[13.03.825 21:43:26] BD|WK-Kitsune-1: Arigato. I will proceed towards your location.
[13.03.825 21:43:48] BD|WK-Kitsune-1: This...is a rather interesting place, to say the least.
[13.03.825 21:43:55] Order|Scott.Mitchell: Was asked to hand over this package. I do not know its significance but our bosses want it badly.
[13.03.825 21:44:08] Order|Scott.Mitchell: This place is spooky as far Omegas go.
[13.03.825 21:44:18] Order|Scott.Mitchell: The farthest from Kusari we can get...
[13.03.825 21:44:30] BD|WK-Kitsune-1: Hai...I never imagined I'd travel this far.
[13.03.825 21:44:33] Order|Scott.Mitchell: Without further due, I will be more confident transfering this piece pronto
[13.03.825 21:44:53] Order|Scott.Mitchell: Here it is. Intact
[13.03.825 21:44:54] BD|WK-Kitsune-1: Object is secured in my cargo hold.
[13.03.825 21:45:17] Order|Scott.Mitchell: Light fighter user like me, huh.
[13.03.825 21:45:30] BD|WK-Kitsune-1: It's...useful, for my line of work.
[13.03.825 21:45:54] Order|Scott.Mitchell: Likewise. Be vary of enemies on your way back home. Heard Sigmas are hot.
[13.03.825 21:46:03] BD|WK-Kitsune-1: The clan's ambitions are turned towards the Sigmas and the uncharted worlds. It is my job to explore and survey.
[13.03.825 21:46:14] BD|WK-Kitsune-1: Hai, of course. I will be cautious.
[13.03.825 21:46:23] Order|Scott.Mitchell: I am the reconaissance specialist. Onurises are our primary tool.
[13.03.825 21:46:33] Order|Scott.Mitchell: Allthough I am not foreign to more heavier bits of work.
[13.03.825 21:46:39] BD|WK-Kitsune-1: It does seem like a fine vessel, as far as my scanners tell me.
[13.03.825 21:47:16] Order|Scott.Mitchell: It does its job admirably.
[13.03.825 21:47:24] BD|WK-Kitsune-1: Well, Liuetenant-Commander, I should get going now. It might be unwise to dally.
[13.03.825 21:47:32] Order|Scott.Mitchell: I will have to remain aboard Canaan, that is why you need to take it back.
[13.03.825 21:47:44] BD|WK-Kitsune-1: I am glad to have had the opportunity to make your acquaintance.
[13.03.825 21:48:03] Order|Scott.Mitchell: Godspeed.
[13.03.825 21:48:11] BD|WK-Kitsune-1: Heavens watch over you.
I had arranged for one of the senior engineers at Mito to grant Professor Nerva a copy of the circuit schematics, and he recently produced some results.
Before parting ways at Kyoto, he gave me a rather peculiar set of mechanical parts and told me you'd want to take a look. I do identify them as drone parts, but I've never seen anything like the sort. Would Hikone be a nice place to examine them closely?
