Sir
The Admiralty has authorised me to launch an investigation into certain matters of House security, this operation (Codename 'Malaya') Would benefit greatly from the involvement of some experienced investigators. Since the Bretonian Police Authority has some of the best it makes logical sense to me to include some of your men, should you be willing to spare them. This investigation is run by the Armed Forces with the cooperation of the SIS, as the head of this investigation I believe it only fitting to include members of your organisation as we have no desire to overstep our authority or challenge yours.
I would greatly appreciate any recommendations you have.
Edmund J.R Steiner Commodore
Bretonian Armed Forces
At first when I received his missive, an apprehension came upon me. I opened it kind of with fear that it was bad news, since lately with the Mollys again taking positions from being rebuffed. And my expression of relief was notorious to the point that my secretary Katherine Philmore smiled as she noticed the sharp change in my face.
Regarding the cooperation of some of my contingent in this investigation, it certainly went down very well in my eyes. To tell you the truth, I even have a competency test to take with two of my subordinates. One of them was called from the retirement deserved with honor for invaluable services rendered to the Crown of Bretonia and that having presented himself, owing to his experience and sagacity, I appointed him Chief Inspector of Police Investigation. The other is a Sergeant recently promoted to Inspector, who has demonstrated remarkable aptitude in service. Also reported for duty was an officer who was on vacation. It seems to me to be dedicated and can be of great use to you. With more he you can count on three of my men.
In this way, I believe that soon I will be able to standardize the usual procedure and send them to you, so that they are under your leadership in what you came to propose to the Bretonia Police Authority.
I thank you in advance for reminding the Commodore that the BPA is always willing to enhance the Crown of Bretonia.
Therefore, I pay my salute.
Commander Lars Williams
Bretonian Police Authority
