Director,
As I'm certain you've been briefed already, the Outcasts have agreed to renegotiate the agreement of cooperation we have with them. This is one small step for Mrs. Daniels, but a big step for us, for The Core, in these times. In no small way as I have told Her Excellency myself, times change, and we must adapt. We are the vanguard of humanity in this godforsaken place and we must do everything in our power to defend the innoce-
[Williams makes a pause, sighing.]
I am getting tired of this fanfare...
Director, I am bringing you a proposal, one aimed not at creating a new craft for war, but at making good and efficient use of our expansive knowledge in the affairs of acquiring exquisite relics and technology. There are rumours on Freeport 11 -- of course, perhaps true, perhaps not, but still nonetheless important -- that The Order will begin launching strikes upon Corsair relic haulers moving from Knossos and out to Sirius. While we will capitalize on this to squash whatever remnants of that alliance will remain in place, I have also plans for our own "offensive", on the economic side of affairs.
What are your thoughts on setting up a temporary depot for Xeno Relics and other exotic materials some few clicks off Nauru itself? It would be well protected and the first step towards chipping away at the Corsair market. It would do us well to be as vigilant as possible but also those to move the first piece on the chessboard, for we must be like vultures when dealing with the Cretans and The Order both.

Our work in this direction has began long before you heard those rumors, William. We've been launching strikes at Corsair miners for a while now. Our own mining ships are armed to the teeth and more than capable of taking out the competition.
And when I say competition, I don't only mean Corsairs. We've taken out civilians, zoners and even Auxo ships trying to get a slice of this lucrative business.
Furthermore, you proposal of building and maintaining a depot is a good one. But there is one critical flaw. It will be besieged and torched way before it can reach its full potential. Should you come up with a solution for this minor setback, I'll be more than happy to go along with your idea.

Director,
You appear to have misunderstood my message. The rumours are not about us, they are about The Order's coming attacks on artifact raiders -- Corsairs included -- within the next few days. This is precisely why I am suggesting we make use of the chaos that will be generated by that diplomatic shift to construct a base near Nauru.
Don't worry about defenses. I know who to reach out to if need be and the Invictus' faithful protectors will be there, too, should such a time come.

Don't worry, I've clearly understood what you said.
Also, you know who to reach out to? Do we need to have the Bureau classify this as black ops? This is awfully shady. I like it.

Director,
Classifications? What is this, a House? Director, my information gets leaked, that Core pilot goes "home" to Nauru and finds his family has been murdered, his rank removed and any relatives are on the most wanted list and hunted across the sector.
One of the main reasons I joined The Core is because it does one thing and one thing only, the best in the region we're in: we fight our enemies with cold hard cash. Rivalries? Bah! Grudes? You can forget them altogether here. "Eternal enemies"? No such thing when profit is concerned. My only ask will be that The Core distances itself from working with known hostiles of the Great Houses so close to our installations, it's dangerous business. And what do we gain from it, at any rate? Stock plummeting, when we could use intermediaries and not worry a single bit? We have the Houses by the knackers, all we must do is sit back, offer bids for our materials and watch on as they start fighting each other over it.
[William begins laughing hysterically for a few moments, before staring back into the camera, intent on finishing the broadcast.]
I have this "in the pocket", as the saying goes and all I will ask of you, Esteemed Director, is for autonomy to act in this affair along with, of course, the APM's support, be it material or financial in nature.

No matter how ruthless and straightforward we are with our ways, autonomy is a tall order. For example, I cannot, without further authorization from the board of directors and the commander of the Core PMC, allow you to forge major alliances or declare war on people.
That being said, a little bit of extortion here and there, a few bribes, a few kidnappings, maimings and torture sessions are perfectly within your right as a high ranking member of our splendid organisation. I'm confident you're well aware of that.
And, for what is worth, you have my support. You have vision, you have determination and most importantly, you have a plan to make your ideas a reality.
What I ask of you is to keep me in the loop. No detail is too small. I'll make sure no red tape is holding you back.
For once, I meet a person that agrees with me on one thing. Cash is king.

We've worked with the Junkers in the past. They are useful mostly harmless. Their ability to move "less than legal" commodities across house space is admirable. I've no issues with them.
The Hogosha, however, are a whole other story. Without exception, all encounters with them ended with gunfire. They move produce for our competition.
If we manage to give them a better deal and end that toxic relationship between them and the Cretens., I'm confident we'll not only deprive the Corsairs of the Hogosha's logistic capabilities, but also indirectly undermine their authority in the Omicrons and beyond.

Director,
These are great news, we know where to start, then. Once I figure out a good point for this temporary storage depot, I'll have my men start working around the hour on it, with maybe some extra help from Daumann if they're willing to lend a helping hand. On the topic of moving the products from Knossos out -- I'll be reaching out to the Hogosha and Junkers both not too far in the future.
If one won't work for us, I'm willing to bet the other will, though I'm afraid that's where my expertise stops. As far as contacting Houses, intelligence groups, freelancers looking for a special something something to build a new wonder weapon, Mrs. Scarlet, it is all in your capable hands to deal with. I hope you can assist me with that much for now.

Seems to me you have most of it covered for now.
When the time comes and my direct assistance is required, you will have it.
Until then, I'll be preparing for the upcoming task at hand.
