Traders may not ENGAGE someone that has successfully pirated and/or destroyed them in a system. However, they're free to come back in again and again and again - and the pirate is free to pirate and/or destroy them again and again and again...
And if you think that doesn't happen, you haven't been around the powertraders very much... :)

haha thanks for the response. I've been on both sides of that particular arrangement... just making sure it's legal.

Traders are exempt from the four hour rule, but they can get pirated or taxed every single time they encounter a pirate in that system (or any other system for that matter).
