In the age of jumpdrives, how is ZOI to be taken? Few ID's have ZOI hardcoded on the ID, so would it be perfectly fine to take a Valor (for instance - it could be any capital ship and ID) and jump a bunch of Gallic (or any other kind) traders to Omicron Delta and back?
If I wanted to set up a business using a IMG Kronos to jump random traders anywhere for a fee, would that be alright, and all I would have to deal with would be RP-repercussions?
Also on some ships, like the Mako, you can end up violating the ID by blind-jumping to a system with a jumpgate. What happens in that situation?

You can go wherever you want, unless the ID states otherwise, like the BHG one.
However, you cannot attack people out of your ZOI.
If there's such a thing as blind-jumping... I guess the Mako should get out of that system ASAP.

Out of your ZoI, you can only attack people in the case of defending yourself. You cannot initiate combat.
However there is nothing to prevent you from trading out of your ZoI, apart from mabye the occasional ID/Rule restrictions, which does not cover all instances, only specific ones. This is the part of out-of-ZoI interactions, which I highly disagree with.
