The door opened a crack and a slight man insinuated his way into the room. He had a manner that bordered on furtive, but stopped just short of suspect. His sidling movement and shifting eyes would almost lead a casual observer to believe he shared a distant ancestor with the common crab.
If one were to knock him on the head and rifle through his pockets, a wallet containing a very well used credit chit would have been found, along with an ID card that identified him as Matthew Watts, a Bowex colonial dockworker. An unruly stubble had laid claim to his chin, while bloodshot veins ran amok across his eyes. The sour smell of old alcohol wafted from his pores.
He stopped short of the bar and his stomach rolled. Someone had let an animal wear clothes and sit in people-chairs. He raised a shaking finger to point in horror. "What the hell is that 'bom'nation?"
Voncloud shakes the Doctors hand shaking his head "Of course not, i was Welcoming you as a Zoner" As his paw returns to his side he nods a greeting to the women "A pleasure" He adds as he sits down. Whilst Erika Serves the ordered drinks he listens to what the Doctor had to say and nodded "No i entirely agree with you there Doc, an it is appreciated to see you wanting to oversee your aquisition"
He chuckles at the comment "Yes, our factorys are at full capacity, my ships have worked hard and fast to get the finest parts from around Sirius, I expect it to-"
The fox is inturupted by the new comer pointing and shouting, Voncloud getting up and stepping past the Dr with a polite "excuse me".
Erika having finished serving the drink looks over slipping her hand just under the bar, poised with her security buzzer.
Once he was close he looked at Matthew and calmly said "If you have an issue with me fella, theres a door there..nothing keeping you here"
Following Voncloud with his eye Douwe nipped from his drink. He lit a cigarette and had a amusing smile on his face when he noticed the two strangely dressed people who Voncloud was talking to.
Seeing the shifty character coming in he instantly cracked his knucles, as proper preparation.. He wasn't looking for a brawl, but this guy wasn't looking all that trustworthy.
He turned his side towards the figure and Voncloud and watched Voncloud say something, although wasn't able to make out what as they are just out of ear reach.

"Oh sweet Jesus, it talks too. That's gross. Like seriously, what even are you?" He edged cautiously around the hairy figure, not wanting to get within two meters, until he eventually had his back to the bar.
He put down a customary tip (bribe) for the bartender before carefully turning to order a drink. He was very concious of the possibility of fangs.
"You got any Tombstone Brew? Or Canarian Star? I'll pay treble for a pint of Spitfire if you've got it... Bretonian ale. Christ. I'd kill for Bretonian ale." He thumbed the credit chit, turning it over in his palm. "Your mutt had its jabs? Don't want to be catching nothing by sharin' a room with it."
The fox looked unimpressed by the slight outburst, he just turned his head and watched before following the man over to the Bar, he stepped back towards the Dr and Douwe
Erika looked at the 'tip' slid it back over to him, then lent on the bar, giving him a evil eye her tone was frosty, cold enough to encase a mans heart in ice, her voice, quiet yet deafening. He words were quite simple, and very very blunt
"I think you should get out of my bar"
Stepping into the bar was a scruffy-looking gentleman, who had just come off the Firefly-class transport Don Quijote. His name was Manuel Rodriguez, a Colonial native who had taken up freelance trading and smuggling after the refugee fleet arrived in Sirius. His eyes sagged more than a plastic bag filled with concrete, and it was clear that all he needed was some R&R.
He was impressed with the furnishings inside, and plopped himself down on a stool nearby. Eyeing the odd animal-like creature with caution, he turned to the bartender with a credit chit, waiting for the commotion to simmer down.
Kerrigan wasn't paying any attention to the other consumers. Not even the funny looking humanoid. In fact, he was only here to chill out and have a drink. And, maybe, go out with this georgeous bartender. The way she stood up to that newcomer somewhat turned him on.
"Yeah it's been a long week. But I guess, for you too."
The Doctor's datapad made a bleep so he pulled it out of his robes and checked the new message. After sliding it back into a pocket, he took his whole drink at once, surprising most around, at his old age. Then he turned to Voncloud again.
Mr. Voncloud, my team on board the Fifth tells me your people already delivered that odd apparatus I came here for, so I must take my leave already. In the name of the Temporary Autonomous Zoners, I thank you for your hospitality and efficiency. Now my friend, I must part. He grab's Voncloud's hand and shakes it. Until we meet again, godspeed and 23's!
Voncloud watched the old man have his drink and quickly, a little impressed he was able to handle it that much, though he sniggered to himself imagining the Dr with a sick bag later. He shook his hand and nodded "You are most welcome Doc, come back any time.." he tilts his head then asks, something his curiousness just couldn't wonder about "Sorry..i have to ask..what do you mean by 23's?"

Matthew sniggered. "What, you got a crush on Manbear Dog over there? Fine. Lose my custom." He snatched the chit back off the bar surface. "Plenty of good bars around here that are actually hygienic." He made a show of sneezing, "M'got allergies anyway. Never could stand mongrels."
He crab-scuttled back towards the door, eyeing Voncloud suspiciously and arcing cautiously around the still sitting form of Douwe. He had no desire to be attacked. Sliding back outside, he took a moment to consider where he could try next. The Empress' Legs was still about, so far as he recalled.
