RoS ships to Hackers - A Thought - Pancakes - 01-21-2015
Might get hated, might not - but:
RoS ships exist in the mod, but we can't use them - except perhaps a handful of former members.
Why not give a meaning to the ships - currently they just stay in the mod, sit there without much use.
Now, since RoS is basically a modified Sabre-line, why not use their ships as Hacker ships, would make plenty of sense.
So - discuss.

Meh, of all the sabre knockoffs modeled after I made the Prosecutor the RoS line was always my least favorite. It isn't a hybrid of two ships, it doesn't bring any revolutionary new detail to the table, it's just sabres with extra fins and blue engines, which is boring as hell.
And let's see what happens with the RoS before giving their shipline to somebody else.

As someone who was so bitter that the Slipstream was taken away from the hackers and given to the phantoms, who then never flew it- yes please.

I'm sorry but... As I heared the Admins already have plans for those Ships as the faction itself...
Also if and I say IF it would be allowed for other use, then I'm sure there are many people like me that would like to replace the Reapers of Sirius and use their ships, as example.
So let's better not vote for it now ^^

Go ahead and make an official faction then, then request that you go and get the shipline after you got official.
Lane Hackers, unlike RoS, are an open-use group. Anyone can go ahead and be a lane hacker - why not use the ships for the while - even if just as a place holder.

RoS are a relic from different times that just like the Phantoms are better off staying as a relic. The ships themselves are clones of the OC shipline with a few fluffy things and we might as well save us the trouble from applying balance changes to two ships that are the exact same and could simply be a single one.

More intrested in the system then the ships. But devs work in shady ways and they throw us hints like dog biscuits every now and then - i guess we just have to wait and see till they decide what to do.
