Banned -Why - UFC_BULLET - 10-05-2008
Ok i am very new to role playing games, and i have been doing very well in my Corsair Character UFC-Bullet,
but last night i bought a Liberty BattleCruiser , it only had a Civilian I.D so i went around trying to find out the I.D i needed, only to be shot at ...yelled at ..screamed at to change it by every person near me, i did jobs for the police ..payed bribes to barman still no joy..Then i noticed my player status was full for liberty police, i mentioned this to Press Jade and told her i still cant buy id, she didnt believe me so i posted screenshot in help section, finally i get Police I.D then im told ..police dont fly battlecruisers...get a diff id.
So while waiting outside Manhatten to speak to Deliberator about what to do i get attacked for no reason by two outcasts ( i wont name them if i dont have to) all they say to me is ...time to die ..then they go about destroying me and taunting me, i respawn at Manhatten..(where they are) and being a bit peeved at them shooting at me for no reason i went and shot at them. Then im told i cant engage them as they run off, and im breaking rules..what rules...i got attacked i retaliated, i cant help my ship is where they are when i respawn, and next thing i know im banned.
I dont think its very fair, i will obey all the rules but at the moment im learning , and if people would help instead of put others down because they are not doing the right thing it would make it much easier,
and if this ban is to stay , why do i have to lose my other ships at the same time, all this because i was trying to learn the liberty rules so i could be a part of the action, i also had the wrong weapons on my ship but i had changed them. Seems to me the people who go around blowing up anyone, get away with it and guys like me who have made honest mistakes get banned for learning.

You did break like 3 rules...
ID rule
In the information of every ID there says what kind of ship you can use, unfortunely the only one faction ID that can use the BC (Liberty assault i belive you bought?), for Rp that is. Is the Liberty Navy. Since Theyre Liberty Cruisers.
And then you cant have a civilian ID, so before you buy a Ship. Get the appropiate ID before. And carrying a civilian ID when your over lvl 40 is against the rules and will get you banned, unfortunely.
Re Engagement Rule
After being destroyed you arent allowed (by rules) to be in the same system as the ones that destroyed you, nor is it allowed to attack the ones that destroyed you, after being destroyed. Youl have to wait 4 hours to be in the same system and to kill them.
So, three or four rules broken. You should have read trough them before buying that BC.
Rules
In the eyes of the Admins they have every right to Ban you.
Hope that youl read up on the rules and that youl have a better luck next time.

But you where learning and I can see how it seams unfair to be banned when learning, but mate, the Rules are there for a reason. If every PvP guy that had a Lib Assault Cruiser (not you) would go attacking and comming back each time after theyre kileld and then say "They where still Learning" and get away with it.. Well.. Liberty would be in more chaos then its allready in.
Unfortunely you hadto experience this, but thats the way it goes.
I realy do hope that youl learned something of this, since its the best way to learn (Learn by your misstakes)

I dont understand how 2 people can attack a ship sitting stationary i did not prevoke them they just blew me up, my ship respawned at manhatten , where they are and i shot back at them , Then in private chat i said to JIM BLACK your a dead man flying its not an insult or abuse just role play and im banned.
I think the fine and bans are way overboard, and if the private chat messages are bannable i suggest you read jim blacks aswell, because we were both bantering back and forth i took it as role play , he needs a ban aswell for attacking me with his mate , i did say in open chat im waiting to fix my ship..then pow im attacked.

He was at Manhatten where i had undocked from, he and his mate blew me up , then i respawn back at manhatten undock and he is there..Pretty simple dont you think.

No offense, but those Outcasts had every right to blow you out of the <strike>sky</strike> - erm, space - because they're Outcasts and you're in a LN ship. Like Serpentis said, you broke numerous rules there; even if they attacked first with no provocation, the re-engagement rule always applies.

Ok, what we have here is just a man who hasn't paid much attention to the rules and has only minimal understanding to the storyline...my advise is for you to take your time and play the singleplayer campaign..then you might understand why the liberty police shoot criminals..and why outcasts attack corsairs.
