i think that it would be awsome to have a weapons platform ship.
it would have no thruster. and had a max impulse speed of twenty.
stats:
Armor: 40.000
turrets: 5 class 8 turrets?
impulse speed: 20
no thruster.
no mines.
maybe cd?
this would be a RP ship as it would be worthless agianst bombers and good VHF pilots

Haha, thats a funny idea, imagine 10 players in a platform ship barricade a jump hole and destroy incoming hostile capitol ships.
That platform ships should have enough strafe speed to evade a small amount of capitol turret fire.

No, you see them outside the Tau 31 construction site for example, also, i have noticed them in okinawa, near the jump gate they are building there. They look like two kite like shapes, stuck by their ends at a 130 degree angle to each other. They might also have 12 or 14 guns instead, im not sure.

You forgot the ones that have 8 turrets and two missiles, like the ones around the Prison in Rheinland.
