At this point in time, Civilian weapons suck.
More than that, Lasers are innapropriate for sevral ship types. I propse we make civy guns of diffrent types, and Buff civilian weapons.
A civy neutron with slightly more Damage, Or neutron relevant stats would be appropriate, I believe

I would absolutely love a civvy tachyon. To be honest, I'd have no problem with flashpoints if they were bumped 200dps

Aren't Civilian weapons, well civilian? Meaning its meant to be less damaging than military equipment?

Well, in RP, some private shady corporations might manufacture military grade weapons and equipment, and sell them to everyone, including other equipment dealers.
Also, we should not compare FL with the real life when it comes to weapons, because in this universe, weapons are crucial to anyone's survival in space.
