No.
All turrents and hardpoints have a unique turrent class mounting.

Oh well, that's a shame. Most of the cruiser turrets suck compared to their gunboat counterparts.

Honestly, I've always thought Battleships should have a second set of Cruiser turrets, like, 1.5 times the number of Battleship turrets, but I doubt that'll ever happen.

Cruiser turrets do about twice as much damage but fire half as fast. If you want to use gunboat turrets get a gunboat! :crazy:

i was looking at turrets today and noticed that the Corsair gunboat turret is quite a bit stronger than the corsair Cruiser turret, and the Corsair gunboat turret is almost as strong as the Corsair Battleship turret.

Yeah, it's a known issue. Rather odd, but it does help reduce the capships kicking around.

If you're going to try and stop capship usage by making them useless, you might as well just remove them all from the mod.

usually the higher you go the more turrets you have. So the higher you go, you still have more attackness.
