Bretonian Nomad Licensing
'Have you heard about these new weapons? Supposed to be based on alien technology...well, people tell these stories...bad stories'
Stories like this have been heard before.
We are sure of two things. We are not alone and we are far from fathoming the Nomad race.
Rumored to have been the guardians left behind by an even greater Alien race, the Nomad species has posed a danger to humanity in the near past. Nomads and any form of Nomad Technology are banned in many areas throughout Sirius, and in other areas, their use and transportation is strictly monitored.
After much deliberation over a recent proposal from Cambridge University, her majesty Queen Carina I has allowed the passage of certain Nomads through Bretonia space to Cambridge Research Station.

As a result, the current Bretonian policies require one to obtain a license in order to transfer Nomads.
Who needs a Nomad License?
You will need a Nomad License IF you are carrying or have mounted:
- Minor Nomad Brain(s)
- Superior Nomad Brain(s)
- Nomad(s)
- Nomad Cannon(s)
- Nomad Blaster(s)
- Nomad Thruster(s)
- Nomad Power Cell(s)
- Any other Nomad equipment, such as Capital Ship Nomad Turrets
Alien Organisms DO NOT count as Nomads. They do not require licensure.
Due to certain instances of strange anomalies regarding Nomad weaponry, they have been included as well.
At this time, there is no Universal License(Faction Identity License). All individuals(characters) must be separately licensed if those individuals intend to carry any of the above listed at some point.
What can happen if I don't have a Nomad License?
The first time an individual is found without a Nomad License, they will be noted on a First Offender List that can be found on the first page of the BPA Webpage.
Repeat offenders carrying Nomads or Nomad Technology as cargo will be asked to drop the specific cargo and the cargo will be promptly destroyed. A fine up to 5 Million Credits may be issued to the offender.
Repeat offenders mounting ANY Nomad equipment will be fined, asked to leave, or be shot.
Any offenders, however, can still return and be licensed. The actions described above are taken only for the safety of the general public of Bretonia.

How do I obtain a Nomad License?
Nomad Licenses can be obtained from any BPA) tagged officer, excluding those with a [SRD tag at the end.
Nomad Licenses cost 2 Million Credits. To purchase a License, simply post here* and we will have you licensed within ONE week. Please, note, however, that there is a two-day waiting period after you are licensed. You may trade and transport Nomads during this time, only you might be accosted by BPA officers regarding your license status**. This waiting period is only for us to keep track of who has been licensed, in case there is a particularly high volume of license requests.
If you purchased a license from the Sirius Federation, your license can be "carried" over. Simply post here, and request that you get relicensed.
*Direct all Licensing to this post, and this post only.
**The BPA will keep track of a constantly updated list of Licensed individuals. In the event, however, that you are punished and believe that you were wrongfully punished, you can always appeal your case. Use of screenshots as evidence is strongly recommended; without them, your case may not be considered.
