Admin Notice: Warning to AdAware Users - Cannon - 06-26-2011 A number of people are having trouble with Adaware. It is deleting a file from the mod called dsace.dll. When this happens you will be automatically banned from server. I recommend you either set an exception in Adaware to prevent the file from being deleted. If the file has been deleted, you need to restore it from Adaware's quarantine area or reinstall the mod. EDIT: I see Alley's submitted a false detection report to Adaware. Thanks Alley. Admin Notice: Warning to AdAware Users - Jeremy Hunter - 06-26-2011 How do yo do that? I spend forever on it, yeah....but idk how to do so. Anywhere to find step-by-step instructions or something? MSE has the annoying habit to conflict with numerous programs, using 100% of the processor capacity in that case. I suggest Avast! over MSE, as personal input. How about you read the first post Admin Notice: Warning to AdAware Users - Zeb Harley - 07-04-2011 ' Wrote:How about you read the first post Your post is not very helpful. It has nothing to do with my question. Thanks for at least trying to help, which I hope you wanted to. But anyway, I made a mistake that lead me to that question in that I confused a dll with a running process, which is of course rubbish. So there's no danger to accidentally taking out the wrong file while trying to kill the game via taskmanager which I was worried about. |
