Discovery 4.86 - Update 2 Released - Cannon - 01-05-2012
The second update of Discovery Frelancer 4.86 : Exiles has been released today. This update focuses on improving client stability. We recommend people upgrade to this version as soon as possible.
The change log is available from the ReadMe.Txt included with the update and installed into your Discovery Freelancer folder. Here is a summary:
Major Stability Issues:
- Fixes for missile and ship models causing client crashs on undock and
weapons fire. Over 100 models updated to resolve this issue.
- Removed incorrectly referenced exclusion zone from field in Bungundy.
Minor Issues and Enhancements:
- Broken wireframes removed from many ship models and unnecessary wireframes removed from commodity icons.
- Mining bonuses added for Anki Freighter and GMG Garanchou with Kishiro ID/IFF. Pricing and some fields adjusted. Liberty Justice turrets and guns treated as civilian technology for the purposes of tech compatibility power adjustment.
- Updated hyperdrive visual effect and plugins to use this. Added new weapons effects for HF ships.
- Updated infocards for various planets.

If the automatic update does not work, the update can be downloaded manually from here. Unzip the contents of this directory inside your Freelancer installation.
I expect that we will have one more stability update and then focus on resolving the various less important issues including restoring ships that were lost during the upgrade. We are aware of a number of problems related to the way models were made and are working to fix these as quickly as possible.

...u rebalanced the Scrapmetal (->Culebra Smelta) Benifit - which makes me cry:P
(well, it seems that this was pretty unbalanced)

One fast question @ IDs:
Most IDs got redone in 4.86 - why not the "Nomad Trial ID" ?
(e.g.NomadTrialID: "Docking is only allowed in the Shrine" -> this seems outdated alrdy.)
Cause:
