Extreme weather these days - Antonio - 12-08-2012

I don't know about you, but in Croatia the big, thick snow is falling, covering the road in 1 hour, and it's already fallen around 1 meter around it. Here's the pic from my house

Is the similar weather at your home too?

In Germany it's also snowing but just a bit here.

Not bad. And what do you think about -25 C?

About the same amount of snow here. Shoveling is futile since it's snowing perpetually. I bet xmas will be green.

It's the 2012 snowy-xmas-apocalypse. About 20 cm here.

Three people were killed and seven put in hospital after a tornado hit the next city up from us here a few days ago..... I guess that's not so ordinary summer weather.

Looks like a wallpaper! You have nice view from that window.
In Kyiv it is still relatively warm, only about zero by Celsius.

It's been about 2 kelvin centigrade over in the UK.

Had some snow on Wednesday, a bit earlier than usual, but not much.
Its still quite amazing to watch the entire country slow to a crawl just because theres some white stuff on the floor, trains delayed, airports closed, multiple car crashes, the usual.

It was all gone by yesterday, but forecasts say it'll be back next week. Should be interesting, heres hoping they don't take 24 hours to get the gritters out again.
