RE: Star Citizen - Corsair - 10-13-2012 I bought the $60 package because I have money to burn after my last paycheck. I don't regret a penny of it and only wish I Had the $10k for the Give Me the Universe.. Not for the goodies, but for the bragging rights of helping make the game. RE: Star Citizen - Boss - 10-13-2012 Well then. I'll certainly be joining you guys on this one. I just watched his pitch video and Jinx is gonna make bank in that game if they do accept ship submissions like he was talking about. RE: Star Citizen - ai_ascendant - 10-13-2012 I am so excited Chris is back on this. And Boss, regarding the quote above, it should include "spaceships", "ship weapons" or "cash" too--if you want to be a real purist. RE: Star Citizen - NixOlympica - 10-13-2012 Threw my 30 bucks on the pile and can't wait. Wish I could add more but that's all I can spare now. GO CHRIS! RE: Star Citizen - ophidian - 10-13-2012 I paid 40 bucks. Maybe I will add more when I get my salary this month. Gives some time for the devs there to get their pledging system stable as well. The Engineering modding manual sounds pretty cool and I prefer to start with the exploration/trade style ship first. RE: Star Citizen - Govedo13 - 10-14-2012 NOTE: Does not pay in Euro via PayPal now: http://www.robertsspaceindustries.com/forums/topic/paypal-payment-type-bug/ Wait for tomorrow or something. Take it as a form of brand loyalty bonus. With a new physics model that won't have e.g. magical angular and linear drags in open space, it may be quite difficult to have fun - for people who keep a rigid stance and remain unwilling to learn something new - at least from time to time. He cited being able to deactivate several of them in order to pull off engine kill drifts. Not sure if that would give an advantage or not - we'd have to see what the projectiles are like. Anyway, I'd be interested in establishing a corporation with my fellow Disco traders, when the time comes. |
