RE: How do we reduce player apathy/Leaving rates? - Jessitrescott - 04-08-2014 Make disco what it was before stop the balancing issues disco was fun when it was unbalanced ,delete all the new systems RE: How do we reduce player apathy/Leaving rates? - Singularity - 04-08-2014 Well, Some new systems at present are good and beneficial. To be honest, I don't understand what has Gallia to do with people "leaving" rates ??? Means, Not many play in those systems, so, what's the reason of it being the main accused in letting people go !!! RE: How do we reduce player apathy/Leaving rates? - Skybandit - 04-11-2014 Has it ever been discussed to just remove the rules regarding pvp? More and more sanctions I see are some odd argument about pvp rules. Make it just good old fashioned pvp without the contrived rule-drama. If you have people dedicated enough to RP'ing anyway they shouldn't need to stop and complain about some rule that may or may not make sense anyway. Plus there's entire list of rules left anyway so just keep that to make the 'have to have rules' people happy. Sure, let me go around as a homicidal maniac who kills everything and everyone. He was trained in ninjitsu to be ultra silent. He kills his victims without a word. He's listed on every criminal database as The.Silent.Killer. Sure beats playing 'who can virtual LARP and has a law degree' Some balance between rules for RP and no pvp rules (beyond no F1, or hacking) we be appropriate. RP is great and worth it so no, just playing on a non-rp server would not work. The problem is admins aren't robots (or at least some of them) and therefore human error can cloud their judgement. My RP was like this: *Logan checked his scanner, the target was a go. He locked his weapons on Lythrilux and charged!* RE: How do we reduce player apathy/Leaving rates? - Vipera Berus - 04-11-2014 (04-08-2014, 08:48 AM)Singularity Wrote: Well, Some new systems at present are good and beneficial. RE: How do we reduce player apathy/Leaving rates? - sindroms - 04-11-2014 Stop judging ingame roleplay as strictly as you do forum and IM based ones. It is not the same level of RP. It is not the same quality of RP. Get it through your thick heads and less QQ will be had. Sounds like a perfectly fine RP, a psycho in real life wouldn't necessarily tell people he was gonna kill them. And it can be dealt with by everyone else just RPing too. Everyone FR5 them, police arrest them, ect. |
