' Wrote:Ten minutes ago as of this post, I had asked Jack Galahad (JBauer) to help me with a transfer by Rochester - I'd intended to set up a new Outcast character, a Sabre, to replace my previous Outcast, Abel.Montoya. Jack promptly helped me out, and my new Outcast-to-be, Roberto.Madrid, set out towards Alpha in his beginning Starflier, carrying gear to the tune of, oh, sixty-five million credits (armor, Cheetah thruster, the works). I'd expected to be able to cope with any NPC threat, so I wasn't shy about toting that much gear around in a Starflea.

Upon jumping into Tau-23, I immediately came face-to-face with CCS Weed, the leader of this would-be faction. Weedalot wordlessly engaged my Starflier and gratuitously destroyed it, regardless of the fact that I was A) setting up and B) a fellow Outcast, purely to steal my possessions. After I respawned, I asked him for reimbursement, assuming this was some sort of mistake, and was flatly turned down - Weedalot's excuse was that, as my Starflier was level 53 from all the valuable equipment I was carrying, it was legitimate prey. Weedalot didn't speak a word while firing at me, and he completely disregarded the fact that it was an Outcast I was setting up.

This outrageous act was committed by the would-be leader of the CCS. This is completely absurd, and I move to deny this faction forming outright - what just happened to me is way over the line. Weedalot shouldn't ever be permitted to administrate a clan.

My problem with Weedalot has been solved with goodwill on both sides. Guess a little understanding goes a long way in such disputes.

I must say that, having flown with you on 2 occasions, your RP seems reasonable...including the imitation of the NPCs (which amused me no end).

Tho I did find it a little odd when you joined in a raid on Gamma, as you're supposed to be interested in the Taus...but then again, the Omega Pirates Guild raids Sigma-13 and Alpha...I wish OC/Sairs would get out of the vendetta mode (the OOC one, not the IC one).

You are totally correct but this was not a raid for us.

After an Attack on Alpha CCS were holding holding them off (We use LF they came in GB) untill the biger force jumped into their ships.
next after they started home the only reasonable thing to do was to get all those who seen our system and had chance to collect vital information about Alpha.
We got them all siting at Cali Holding Cell, Some already cracked and talking some will start singing as well soon enough.

**And agree 100% that the vendeta should be solved in some way. i use similar name on all of my chars i see how the Corsairs treat me in a totally different RP they cannot seem to put aside that i am an outcasts on other chars

Get your guys ( and gals ? ) to bone up on the Outcast brotherhoods ( I'm talking ROS , 101st etc ) diplomacy . And get them to check opponents IDs , not just go on IFF ( Ours is Bounty Hunter IFF , Mercenary ID ) .

//OOC :Part and parcel of Discovery is the wealth of diplomatic ties and enmities between the factions . If you want to run/create a faction , you need to have this knowledge at your fingertips , and , more importantly , pass it on to your troops . :end OOC //

Having said that , I wish you well , that area is a hive of activity , and more can only be better , especially if you pay well :D

I'm getting a little tired of seeing CCS folks in California and New York, here was I thinking that the Cali in your name meant Cali base in the Tau's not the shortened Cali in Liberty. That said, the Liberty Rogues do not need, and do not solicit your aid in anything and if we catch you pirating on our turf or using our bases without permission, expect to be turned into scrap.

Liberty Rogue profile is nice and low right now, we can pirate without hassle in the main and we are getting by. Having CCS show up everyday is attracting unwanted attention and if the LR have to forcibly remove some outcasts to regain our low profile we will. Also the arrival of ANY CCS capital ship will be met with hostility by the LR. Liberty Dreadnoughts are bad for business.
