Generation ships sounds even more HUGE than city ship.
I think an hotel ship is quite good, but does this really fit? Who needs a hotel in space? There are already luxury liners for that purpose.
For the moment I'm quite happy with "mobile Outpost" or somthing.... a kind of smaller city
And I have to agree with linkus, don't use this many windows or make them somewhat larger.

It was really fun to watch this progress, it is too bad we don't have dockable player ships yet...
I hope this gets in at some point. Really good work and even freelancerish.

I think the issue with this ship is that it looks too good. Maybe it could be a base? Set it next to some planet and say the Zoners are terriforming. It is just a really good looking ship. Almost makes me want to break my no battleship pledge.

I like the size on that but will it go through a Jump Gate?
Other than that it looks ace. I may suggest it gets uber defence but practically no offence... A bit like a Battleship sized whale but with 2 Battleship sheilds or something like that to make it hard to take down.

I say stick it in as a base, if at all, we don't need new shiplines as much; we need existing shiplines to be finished, and I can't see where that comes into this really.
Plus the fact, the Barge was meant to be a one of a kind thing; a true monster sized ship, we really don't need another.
However, the model is good quality.

3 times would be definitely too much.
I'm not quite sure if you should make is a station. On one hand we really have enough shiplines. On the other it just looks incredibly good and many people seem to like one.
I think you should make it an outpost somewhere, or a guard-ship for gran canaria maybe? It seems to fit in this system quite well :)
