This is gonna make things quite salty if they can.

Also, p.s. @sindroms the scoreboard is messed up, like it shows the wrong scores for the wrong event.

What is the point in an event where the outcome is already chosen for you?

Considering the player base I can tell you the pvp outcome of this event is pretty determined already.

Except if some good pvpers at some point decide to not join one side and suddenly fights are fights and not silly massacres. Judging from past event experience, the score will have to be like 20 : 4 to make some few join the skill-wise overpowered side. My optimistic prediction is: 100 : 45 (if GRN brings caps). If GRN sticks to snubs only, and avoids cap fights... 100 : 25.

I took the freedom to watch a bit of the event today and what I saw was actually what I expected to see. It's a power-boost from CR for CR and if it's intented to be a major turning point in the story-arc surrounding the GRN in the Taus then it's very poorly executed. I had the questionable pleasure to witness CR walking into a bunch of snubs with 3 cruisers, using the Council battleships as hug-points and still getting their ass kicked by the GRN snubs.
Sure, the GRN could also spam their Valors, but then again I'd assume Shaggy is going to instantly complain about it. There's absolutely no previous actions by CR that'd indicate such a sudden and swift strike at their former homebase (yes, I've screened the forums for that) in terms of fleet mobilization or even preparations for such a large scale offensive.
I dearly hope, should this event have an open outcome, that the GRN will gather everything they can get hold of and kick your backs.

The sole reason I made a GRN snub instead of a CR one was because I expected GRN to be outnumbered and capganked which they obviously did. I never liked having to dodge capital ships while doing snub brawls and I do not wish to participate on the side which does that regularly as in my opinion it's cheap.

Let's be honest now, GRN side knew that CR and Council where on caps but yet bring fighters because everyone knows that is CR weakness. But again why is everyone complaining for a bit of fun? It is a fun thing, people are suppose to be enjoying it and not only that it is the GRN side complaining about winning. That makes sense doesn't it.

I had no CR/Council/GRN ship prior this event and I don't plan to dish out a few hundred millions just to make one and throw it away once the event is over. (sun)

That is understand and I respect that alot. GRN are known to have alot of capital indie pilots as well as alot of shared ships that is why CR and Council indies bought capital ships due to expecting the whole fight to be alot bigger than it was.

I would like to apologize for the CR side with the large amount of caps, but GRN knew and could see CR was on capital ships and did not allow for the CR or Council guys to switch before even starting the fight. The event started early because of this by a whole thirty minutes. But again no CR or Council has complained about loosing the first fight. It is a bit of fun after all and for the record CR and Council did not get a single kill.

Well I kind of arrived a bit late so I didn't know how it all started. That kinda sucks that it got rushed. Hopefully next time we'll organize it a bit better. I'm glad you guys still had fun though.

Well this is a weekend event so hopefully expect more pew pew tomorrow and sunday and then next weekend will be the finale with a few special treats, which a big thank you to @sindroms deserves for his hard work on this whole event itself.

So thank you and kudos to him.
