Any lawful's left in Disco? - jxie93 - 12-02-2009 Plenty of players own both pirate and lawful characters, the problem is that they choose to use their pirate characters more because there are more pirates than lawfuls. I hate pirates. Any lawful's left in Disco? - ryoken - 12-02-2009 ' Wrote:Plenty of lawfuls. Problem is, many of them are idiots. I do not wish to agree, but you are right. For every good lawful, there are 2-3 "idiots". Problem is most LN/LPi/LSF do not except indie's,and push them out,or make them join up. Alot do not like this, and become unlawful just to gang up on said faction's. If they would let up?(big if) many more good RP'rs may help. I my self was a Navy pilot in 4.84 along with 2 other indie's. We were on when most faction player's were off,and we made a huge differance. Then along came a faction saying we had to do what they told us,and we could not enter Alaska as we were "inferior pilot's" "low ranking pilot's" "not faction pilot's" Then the other 2 with me said screw this, and purchased outcast desi's,and started to help unlawful's,and were fully excepted. I soon just sold off my ship, and stayed in Gamma with my OPG friend's. Any lawful's left in Disco? - Silmathien - 12-03-2009 ' Wrote:The problem lies with the miners themselves. They don't know who is a pirate and who isn't. So I have these steps in place to help them so that the lawfuls won't have to worry about pirates because they won't have anything to pirate. Listen to this wise voice. And oh... 7. Choose a safe area to work in. Tau 23 is well known not only to miners but also to pirates. You have to explore Disco for yourself. I'm sure there is a place especially made for ya.;) Any lawful's left in Disco? - Immunity - 12-03-2009 Here's something I never seen, Freelancer ID pirates. Yes lots of Unlawfuls, time to get out caps, and hunt them down no? (Not cap whoreing, but seeing all the caps might just scare them off.) The LPI has accepted EVERYONE who has applied. The only exception has been an individual who was a known troublemaker. We try to work with anyone who wants to fly as an LPI. The only thing that is asked of them is to KNOW the laws of Liberty and enforce them AS WRITTEN. If you cant do that, then you don't know who your character is and should review what you are doing. Any lawful's left in Disco? - PhoenixHeart - 12-03-2009 I think he means that they don't WANT to join the player-LPI faction, and that they would rather stay as just Police ID'd pilots doing their job. Joining up is not a problem. The problem is that the "legit faction players" try to boss the indie's around, and make them take order's from them. When i was an indie with my 2 bud's, we had several very new LN player's(less then 24hour's) try to force us to drop our nomad brain's,and organism's that we just took from 2 train's coming out of Alaska. (yes back then caps could kill transport's for smuggling). They tried to say since we were not tagged, we could not"handle" a dangerous cargo. In reality they wanted to sell the cargo, and make some cash. They then fired on us,and well they were crispy in second's. But to make long story short, I did not mean to say faction's did not take on recruit's. It's like a tiger that uses the excuse of protecting sheep to defend other tigers who have killed sheep herds... I'm really amazed by your rhetoric... A+... you could have a career as a lawyer A career? Me? Why, thank you for the compliment. Seriously, though, I believe your view of RP to be very narrow if you cannot see that those people who keep shields down while a transport is "afk" are, instead, preserving RP. How does it necessarily hurt RP? Your ship will be there when you come back, and it shows who is playing on the toilet, so to speak. Really, you'd be surprised how many people do actually talk while supposedly on the can. Just like the extent to which "//No English" people actually do know English. Moreover, RP is the point of this server. RP is not an excuse for anything, other things are excuses for RP. Poor excuses, most of the time. Really. I'm not justifying any horribly unfair activity, but, keeping shields down is a sure way to make sure that you are not being swindled. I honestly don't think it's unreasonable in any sense of the word... But, how does this kind of discussion get us anywhere? Any lawful's left in Disco? - CzeReptile - 12-03-2009 ' Wrote: Maybe LPI accepts everybody but.
