Well... as you all know, im in China - so my ping is anywhere between 380 on the low end (which is on a rare good day) and 620 on the high end... It usually averages between 450-480...
That being said, the last few days have been the worst ive had for a long time, almost constant red lag sometimes, so much so that when i have yellow lag im happy! at least i can dock!
I did discover a funny glitch from this though - i was trying to buy some CD missiles in a base i was in, after i had bought them and got the "loaded into cargo hold" message.. nothing happened,, no missiles were added and the "buy" slider wouldn't come back, i ended up trying 3 or 4 times by logging out but still nothing, the lag was so bad that nothing was happening.
Anyway, logged in the next day, only had yellow lag... and there i have about 280 CD missiles out of a possible 70... haha weird?
Also took some funny screen shots of my ships trying to dock when the docks doors were closed - i dunno what happened there, but i guess after i hit "Dock" it lagged so bad that the doors never opened or they closed again... there is my ship in the load screen, banging against the door......:)

I got a screen of an NPC 20,000k away today. Yep, that's no less than TWO MILLION METERS away. Of course, it had to happen during a mission, I think I got disconnected completely... game crashed when I tried to exit, and I had to pull power. I'm guessing its on my end, but due to the crazy lag reports today maybe not...

I keep crashing, Battleship Altenburg, Dresden System. my player file saves there when i do crashed, but if im docking and it crashed i end up inside the battleship... literaly...but i can thruster out without much problems. I get occaisonal blinking yellow then to red then i crash, i come back and it does it again about 1 hour later...and im U S A, so i have no idea what my normal ping is and idk how to check. it really only effects docking and Fighting with players or npcs, sometimes i get lag and im not shooting at the npc im shooting at that station behind the npc...

My ping is usually around 380 on some really bad days it's 500+.
All the way from downunder... Is there any way to get a faster ping ? Or is that just down to the time
it takes due to the distance...

Omg. I have got to see that. The maximum I've gone is about 300k away from the NPC I was in mission against.
My ping's usually 300+-.

Why does everyone complains about pings? I'm happy with my "high" ping of around 30:laugh:. Well, if there wouldn't be such times when it goes up to 1000+ _--_. (really, just checked and had 1842) And that is not from server, it is from me, and i don't know what is causing this.....
So, i lag from time to time a bit^^ and afterwards i'm sometimes dead-.-

I live in spain, and i have an awful lag. Yes, its horrible, i cant live with it in big battles.
My ping is 72ms average.
My fps is 7.2 average in group battles.
Isnt it cool?
PD: Oh, i forgot to say i meant "fps lag"?

Im getting from 140 ping to 1000 ping.
Im in America
And now i keep on crashing and getting complete red flashes with 1 yellow flash.
and now sometimes the server won't appear in the server list.

I get the same issue every so once in a while, but lately I have noticed a lot more yellow and reds, with docking issues. I am in Mexico, and my ping is around 225 on average. But besides the lag issue, I love discovery and wish you all the best and want to say thanks for making a game i truly love into something to enjoy again.

I get ping from 120-700, but rarely any lag. I dunno why.
My framerates are ALWAYS a rock-steady 60, except when I first join the server for about 2-5 minutes it's stuck at 2-5FPS. I have no clue why.
EDIT: West Coast, US
