However, Tanktarget, the Coalition fit with the history of Sirius.
They are even in the starting video for Freelancer.

How many times do I have to repeat it?
I want we drift out of the Zoner thing. That's why we have our own ID, on our own system. And that's why I ask for the AW to have NPC's. So we can cut our links from the Zoners completely and end this nonsense that erupts from time to time.
The coalition fits to a degree, but all are supposed to be dead since earth Sol system was blown up. Until I see some cannon history regarding the Coalition survival from that destruction, I will see coalition with the same rights as AW regarding history.

Now remember I am at fault for most of AW's rep frak ups, They used to be perfect Zoner mercs. And due to their alliance they got some action. And because of some things that happened before I got here. Hostilities came around quickly. And thusly the AW was made as Zoner with the intention of being Zoner. RP was added in later because at first RP wasn't needed. Now that things have changed so much, AW's RP has evolved beyond that.
Now you are being a complete hypocrite slamming Korrd for his request when in this very thread you asked for SCRA NPCs, now don't you ever say they don't need the NPCs when you know SCRA doesn't need em and yet you pretty much demand em every opportunity you get! And the AW actually does need an NPC faction because all of you can't seem to understand there is no other tag in discovery that works. I mean hell the Phantoms got NPCs and no one whined. And you certainly don't see HF members asking for an ID every mod release. Xenos although they may not be perfect for your RP are what fit the best, the same with Zoners. So as long as you have a Xenos tag then LAY OFF the AW and their Zoner tag. How would you like if I made a post every month about the SCRA not being Xenos and how out of RP that is. To put it simply you wouldn't.

Anyways AW are closer to terrorist than anyone they completely change anyone from neutral to hostile at the slightest whim of their 'master' They don't follow any strict Diplomatic guidlines except for their alliance to the Hellfire Legion which if they were anything like zoners would have no affiliation to enemies of corsairs or alteast be neutral, so either give up the convince of the neutral rep or..... become mercs with some crazed diplomacy.

Sol didn't get blown up.
That was removed.
Orillion founded the Order, he even says so. It wasn't some guy from Pluto.
Even if it did blow up... the Coalition were on the Hispania. Blowing it up.
Plus, I've always agreed that NPCs for the Coalition would be out of the question. I won't lie and say I'd like that, but, like AW, having their own NPCs would be opening Pandora's box.

Actually the SCRA should not exist...
Why? Because the coalition was just that a coalition here is the definition of Coalition.
A combination or alliance, esp. a temporary one between persons, factions, states, etc.
Now this was a coalition between normally warring nations anyways. And after the defeat they disbanded. And honestly if the coalition wanted to bring down the Alliance they know where the Alliance went, tracking such a big ship cannot be that hard. They would just send a bloody fleet.
And for the record it is a part of HISTORY not Freelancer, the coalition plays absolutely no role in Freelancer whatsoever. Just starlancer. Now Blunt, do you think that Socialists, communists and direct rule governments would get along for a decent period of time?
The very names of both factions explain EXACTLY the kind of war being fought. An alliance vs a coalition.
And as a said, you have no right to criticize Korrd when you yourself are doing the same thing. With the same flaw in your judgment.

Ah The SCRA have no business with Zoner NPCs either or freelancers for that matter, but you thought coalition NPCs didn't fit when they have an even greater RP reason than some made up faction from nowhere so why should AW have their own guards and be allowed to do almost anything they want?

Has anyone actually 'read' this thread, or you are all talking without reading others posts?
For the first time in ages, I agree with the AW stands here. if you read my posts, you will notice that I am the strongest oppositor of AW total control, power and powerplaying. Still, i agree on this one.
I'm tempted to close this thread for two or three days, so everybody actually reads what has been written here, thinks, takes a cold shower, and then, once I open this thread again, post something with sense.

OOOOOOOOOH sorry I said terrorist maybe I should say 'oppertunistic pirates' you attack other pirates when you feel the needs, as well as arm and support other pirates. you go very far out of whatever the hell you would consider a ZOI and attack any Military targets that you please. Can you please explain what AW really is because I've never seen them actually collecting bounties except for in mid-war when they should be doing it to slay an enemy not collect little gold tokens for their bank. War smashes economies not fuel them.

Blunt you opened yourself up to this... let me explain.
You regularly ask for Coalition NPCs and for the same reasons that you say AW cannot have them. You should not have them. The only problem I have here is you Blunt. And it's the fact that you are being a hypocrite. And you know it. Korrd has a right a to ask just like you do. And does Korrd come down like a hammer when you ask for NPCs? No I do! Why? Because you criticized him about it.
Blunt, I have little to no problem with your faction really. I was allied to SCRA at a time... and have no problem with the RP. I have a problem with there being NPCs. Because according to your own RP there simply aren't enough Coalition to secure a system in the first place.

Hey Razr heard of WWII?
In that war the American Economy SKYROCKETED why? Because the faction winning the war gets a crapload of new jobs. And so much work is available and so much money is flowing in and out the economy builds up. Although a faction has to have a decent economic base to begin with. To support the growth.
And again the AW/HF alliance is the main cause of them leaving their ZoI. And Razr it is readily apparent that you read none of Dab's post as you have little to no attention span that i know of. Dab explained why he is attacking people because AW is constantly being attacked! The initial hostilities between factions are rarely ever started by the AW. But then who ever expected you to read anything bigger than one sentence as you clearly cannot be bothered.
