I like this story.
I'm anxious to see what else happens with the new release and how it will be implemented.

Kudos to the Dev team and all the hard work they have put into this, thus far.

though some of the things will surely be hard to adapt to, especially for some factions more than others, I like that. I am looking at it with an open mind, instead of a closed one.
It will be neat to see what kind of diplomacies and deals come out of this.

Just remember lads,

every time we have a dust up with the Frogs, we win.

never fear, we'll give them the old wellie.

I already have a comic brewing to do just that.

edit: wow, bad grammar

Both. I actually used to lead the Bundschuh. At present I lead the Maquis. We basically steal scraps to survive and are made up of traumatized people who have succumbed to hatred and despair. As far as things go, the Maquis are within RP one of the most underpowered factions ever. My Maquis is one of my favorite characters.

I am also familiar with offering the LWB 'victory'. Legalize them, kick out Synth Foods, give the LWB Planet Stuttgart. They turned down the offer. (This was not a joke. We were deadly serious. It could have happened, but they said no.) Your faction gaining a complete victory means you as a player lose. I won't simply argue the inverse, that being a logical fallacy, but having an uphill battle is actually a lot more fun in my eyes. Provided you decide to have fun with it, that is. If you decide to over-identify with your character, then of course your faction losing territory is going to upset you. Consider, rather, all of the new people you can interact with rather than the number of bases no longer marked one way. Besides, you don't actually know that you're simply losing bases, systems -are- being added. Samura Q_Q'ing about losing ground is particularly amusing to me.

I keep saying this, perhaps it will start to sink in. Seek fun and you shall have it. Seek things to Q_Q about and you'll find those too.

I choose to have fun.

arvg may have stumbled onto the right attitude. Rather than Q_Q about "onoz we're getting pwned" think "how much fun can we have thrashing the frogs?".

Wow, good story bro;)Rly beautiful. duwant duwant duwant

Anyway, i'm just wondering what happened to .. Corsairz? They are where in _some_kind_of_war with Britonia for Cambridge system, and also operating in dublin. Now its going to be interesting. Is there some kind of neutral\ally possibilities in exchange of food delivering? I think situation is quiet interesting to Britonia, the huge danger on their doorsteps and their resources are wasted on a war with Kusari alreay. Think they are in want of searching of all possible forces to make a ally with to escape from total occupation. Or wait. What?

THIS IS NOT EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENS IN 4.86

More will be revealed later. Feel free to speculate, but please don't spread unconfirmed rumors as if they were truth. Personally I think it'd be interesting if the Corsairs attempted to carve up Bretonia between themselves and Gallia, but I will refrain from divulging what actually happens. It might be that. It might be that Bretonia makes peace in return for food (wouldn't be the first arch-enemy they've placated >.>). It might be that the Corsairs stop attacking Bretonia so they can focus on the Hessians. I could tack on further things but I hope I've made it clear that we aren't going to tell you more just yet, don't take casual musings and opinions as hard canon.
