Destroyers is way too far. Waaay too far.
Bombers or Gunboats I can see if EXTREMELY necessary... but, really, destroyers are right out.

I agree. Personally, I don't think we should even have a gunboat, but I guess one wouldn't hurt if used very rarely.

You are quite enlightened for only four posts. I agree, and seriously, if this gets passed with Destroyers on the list half the server will go hang themselves. The other half will become Blood Dragons.

Proposal amended, since although i still like my vision of the space samurai police and think the counterarguments are... reflexive, I like the inherent possibilities of the KSP better and really want to see it happen. Also, don't want to be the cause of mass-suicides.
Removed destroyers. Updated gunboat restrictions. Re-added Catamarans as a possible alternative to gunboat.

I'm about to move house , so broadband will be out for who knows how long *sigh*, however will still be following this thread at work .
I think this sounds great and look forward to the birth ( if ok'ed ) of the honourable KSP , it sounds well put together , and from evidence of posts , believe it will be well led .

Common sense isn't affected by the number of posts. :) I realize that this is a game, but police should not, by any stretch of the imagination, have military hardware. The Army and National Guard (for those of you living in the US) have tanks/planes/et cetera, because their duty is to protect the borders. The police fulfill the role of protecting the citizens from each other and criminals, and thus only need cars/the occasional helicopter. (No, helicopters don't represent gunboats in this analogy). Bombers are somewhat OK in my book; think of them as SWAT cars that are used only if the suspect is more heavily armed than the typical criminal.

This could be a good addition to Kusari space and add some possibility of surplus action. But I'm not fond of using even Gunboats for police factions..
