Coalition Recruitment Thread - Comrade Jurij - 09-08-2010 ***Incoming Transmition*** ***Pacifica Base-Bering System** ***To SCRA Komisariat*** ***Comrad Jurij*** Zdravstvuite.Jurij reporting to Komisariat.Since Comrad Warner left Bering sistem, no one call me , and give me instructions. My mission is almost ower in Liberty and Rheinland Systems.Awaiting new instructions. Coalition Recruitment Thread - Malenka - 09-08-2010 She sighed and started. "They fight for their home, their tradition. They don't like foreigners, they want to protect their homeland, Kusari. Kusarian people, and none else." Coalition Recruitment Thread - Yuveraj Khan - 09-08-2010 "I didn't send you all the way up there to bring me a Siri-pedia quote," Khan shook his head, lifted the gun and shot her dead. "Typical, had she actually bothered... or cared about this at all, there would have been more effort." Khan shrugged, motioning to the guards. "Take out the trash!" He lit a cigarette, blowing a long cloud of smoke out as he re-holstered his gun. Noticing that there was a new recruit, slightly later than the others. "You," he gestured as the guards carried one of the bodies out of the door to the office. "Why do you want to join the Coalition's glorious fighter corps?" Coalition Recruitment Thread - Comrade Jurij - 09-08-2010 ' Wrote:"I didn't send you all the way up there to bring me a Siri-pedia quote," Khan shook his head, lifted the gun and shot her dead."Who, Me comrade"..Jurij stand up, and move to office.."Are you talking to me "... Coalition Recruitment Thread - Yuveraj Khan - 09-08-2010 Khan blinked, "no, the other one. But since you are here, inside my office... tell me what do you know about Comrade Aeon, the rise and fall, if you please." He lazily blew a smoke ring. Coalition Recruitment Thread - Tomtomrawr - 09-08-2010 He examined the CPW-Trotsky closely as he talked to a woman over the comms about docking. In his opinion it looked like it would work better underwater as a submarine. Perhaps that was where the design had been based. It looked designed for combat against large ships, judging by the shape and turret positions. But he pondered this little, and went over again what he would say. He had decided to not pretend to be something he was not. To go in, offer what he was, and if they didn't like it then he would die. Simple in his mind. He had sent all of his money to his family, and his Wasupu had been given to a special friend he had found on his travels. He hoped he would see her again. He cleared docking control for his Starflier, which he had chosen personally as it was the cheapest, allowing his family to have more money. He had only bought it the day before, and had been fortunate not to run into any who wished to cause him harm. He glided into the chosen docking port and set his ship down. He passed a technician while heading for the main structure of the ship, toward the recruitment office. The technician gave him an understanding look, as if he knew what we going through his mind right now. As he walked past the technician, he said a few words. 'Melt it down into something useful. I don't need it either way.' The technician nodded, and then the applicant reached a doorway and lost sight of the technician and the dock. He wondered if he would see it again. * * * He sat down outside of the recruitment office door, believing he could hear voices on the other side. So this was it, he thought to himself. Death, or a new chapter of life. He could still walk out if he really wanted to, but knew he wouldn't do it. He had searched, and this was the last option. He took a small paperback book out of his coat pocket, and began to read. It was a thriller he had ten pages left on, and he hoped he could finish it in time. Coalition Recruitment Thread - Tabris - 09-08-2010 As Commandante Warner gazes out the window at the lobby he spies a new face enter, sitting down by the office door with a small book. With a frown he reaches into his pocket and pulls out a Comm-Link. "Bring him to me...But soften him up a bit first..." he calmly spoke into the Comm-Link before stuffing it back into his pocket. He folds his hands behind his back as he watches the man read... Coalition Recruitment Thread - Aphil - 09-08-2010 The Comm-Link sprang to life "Bring him to me...But soften him up first..." Lieutenant Commander Daemon Steele smiled at that. He nodded to his comrade Lieutenant Sasha Orlov who was also smiling. The two put on their standard Coalition Power-Armour which could intimidate even the most stead-fast of warriors. The Armour Plating was covered in dry remains of blood along and the Suit sported a Combat Knife, a Pistol and Steele's favorite, a prototype AK-666. Unlike its counter-parts the AK-666 used a highly classified and prototype Energy Cell capable of 500 Shots before running out and needing a reload. The Firing-Rate was immensely fast and only the toughest of armor could hope to even slow down each projectile. Both Steele and Orlov walked up to the man who had just arrived. He was reading a book it seemed, and was almost done reading it. Daemon thought to himself "Shame he'll never finish it." He approached the man and spoke to him. "Priviet Comrade". As soon as the applicant looked up Orlov knee'd him in the face sending drops of blood all over the place. Steele grabbed the mans book and threw it to the side. The applicant was struggling but Daemon gave him a punch to the side of the head that quickly resolved things. Daemon ordered Orlov to carry the now unconscious to Commandate Warners office. "Sorry for the mess but hell, it was fun." said Daemon in an amused voice. Both Daemon and Sasha put the applicant onto a chair and restrained his hands. They then moved to the corners of the room and watched in amusement at what would happen next. Coalition Recruitment Thread - Tomtomrawr - 09-08-2010 It had been the last paragraph that he had missed. That was his first thought when he regained consciousness. A twist had been introduced and the book had practically ended. But he still didn't feel like he had finished it. Which was a shame. He had enjoyed the trilogy and wanted to read it until the end. But in his mind he shrugged. All the more reason to try and get through this. He tried to move his arms. Restrained. That bugged him slightly, but there was no point in caring. If he was going to die then he could not help himself no matter what. Even if his arms were free. Even if he had twenty pairs of arms. Nothing could be done. A sharp pain suddenly erupted in his nose. Broken, most likely. He made no sound, showed nothing on his face until he opened his eyes to see where he was. He was sat in front of Commandante Warner, who stared back at him. So he was not dead yet. He would still say what he had come to say. 'Good afternoon,' he said to the Commandante, a slight smile now on his face. Coalition Recruitment Thread - Tabris - 09-08-2010 As they arrived in his office Ben didn't turn around until he heard both sets of footsteps head to the corners of the room. As he turned his face became somewhat friendly looking. Striding up to the tied up man and looking him over briefly before scoffing. "What is this trash cluttering up my office...Who is this broken sack of flesh?" he asked aloud, but not expecting an answer as he folded his arms infront of himself, waiting for either and answer from the guards or the unconcious man to regain conciousness, after several minutes going by without an answer he nods. "How can a fool in his state stride into our lobby so cool about his fate?" he asked himself while chuckling. "Either he expects to die or join if option A doesn't happen...Since this pathetic piece of trash isn't part of the Fighter Corps he need not come to me, he's your waste..." he comments with a smirk growing on his face. Giving a small chuckle he continues. "He's your gentlemen's case...Remove it." he orders before heading back towards his window, the poor man's fate now resting in a pair of some of the most violent soldiers of the Coalition. |
