Hard to say anything, because I havent been in a really big group fight, involving only non vanilla ships. Would be interesting to do some testing - say 10 RT v 10 RT in Connecticut, pilots on both sides as equally matched as possible, equipment allowed - any exept Keeper stuff, krakens and black widows, since these are very easy to hit and do high damage.

Option 2) about separate weapon slots gives the *option* to mount missiles on a few slots, they would effectively be gun/missile slots, the rest guns only.
(I'll probably need to save that sentence somewhere so I can do a copy&paste every time this pops up)

I would appreciate more if you kept your philosophy on poll option numbering where it doesn't clutter the place.

Did I mention I'm for
1) Increasing damage of explosives (Probably a bit less on Nukes, and a bit more on Torpedoes compared to what was done so far)
and
1) Cargo requirements, which seems a natural way with low development requirements. It is also easy to balance per-weapon and per-ship.

so again was this just to save face and your gonna do what you like anyway?

there is no "2nd try" when it comes to votes, its you loose, you loose. live with it. instead of trying to have "YOUR" way everytime eh?

if the cargo requirements had won... i highly doubt you would have placed a 2nd vote martin, jure, marvin, sungi, everyone else.

Dear Nico, while your personal bickering is interesting, I'd say that with results:

30, 32 and 34 votes for 3 different options and with 32 votes for other options (one of which is "combination of the above") it is need to focus the voting on those 3. Or do you know what do at least those 14 people prefer?

I don't.

If we really wanted to "win" why wouldn't we use the developers poll where one option got 14 over 12 votes?


Right now no restrictions "won"... but wait what if suddenly two people come and vote.. and something else wins... so we change it again... and in two days it goes the other way again :lol:

Dear Martin you realy do have a demeaning way of adressing people. And you wonder why you dont get much respect from some people. Considering when the votes were tied yesterday. It was given mention "That if it stayed that way the cargo requirments would be getting used any way. Because it would be more work to change the missile slots now." And just because Nico at least dosnt hide behind skype chats to do his bickering dosnt meen to say your a golden boy. So do me a favour bud and get off your high horse and come back down to earth with all of us lower beings eh?

As you are so good at reading chats you might as well know who said it and it wasn't me. If you have time to do 300 hours of coding, you are free to do so if results show it should be done.

Chats are for people to talk, conversation that goes like this:
A:"It's so wrong"
B:"Ok so what should we do with"
A:"It's so wrong"
C:"Ok so what should we do with it"
A:"It's just so wrong"
D:"Ok so what do you suggest"
A:"you are all poor loosers and biased"

Look im not going to go on about this, but i am going to reply to that. I can remember a few times you've stormed out that chat because you havent got your own way. The difference between you and me is im out and im staying out. Now you can sit here and talk rubbish saying you get a chance to discuss things because you dont. If you try and make a sugestion you get one of 2 things. Ignored or Teamed up on. You say we had 14 to 12 votes on the dev forum why didnt we go with that. Ill tell you why because this idea was thought of by, you so it stands to reason you are going to vote for it, its about the comunity as a whole. Not just what you think. Now there alot of things thats been disagreed and every time its been the same thing. So you tell me what ive lost here exactly. I realy would like to know. As far as i can see the votes that are in 1st and second place are exactly the way i would like it to be. Im sick of the excuses snd you can sit here and try and make out i left that chat because im a sore looser all you like. But you forget how long ive actually put up with whats been said in that chat, and i dont just meen to me. Now i have no doubt in my mind that this wouldnt go to a second vote if it panned out the way you obviously think it should have. Much like many other things.

Frankly mate you can do what you like and say what you like. As a matter of fact you can do away with missile for all i care, because it realy is things like this that i think can ruin the experiance of Discovery for alot of people.

And just so everyone knows. This mod will be brilliant so dont panic. But its getting way past the seriousness i expect when im "playing" a game. Just remember that its a game that we are all here to enjoy.
