Ah yes, nothing to lose, except reputation and PLAYERS. I would usually leave it alone but I have to make a noise because EVERYONE believes nonsense coming out from certain people. I'm giving perspective, if they don't want to understand then it's their loss. Being reasonable gets you nowhere. We've tried. I've tried.
Infact, we almost got banned and the faction almost disbanded because of people lying because they lost in the game. We did nothing wrong. Had we not ignored the complaint, they almost certainly would have done that. This type of favouritism without proof is dumb.

People will believe what they want to believe, about you (as I found out, around Christmas time).
Whatever you say, those people will pick over it, chose anything that reinforces their opinion about you and disregard the rest.
As long as you know (and those close to you know) the truth, then that is all that matters.

i have nothing against auxesia player base but i despise the faction itself and the means to which it got to where its at and the attitude generally given to people outside of their inner group
therefore when i was asked if i wanna make a UN indie shuttle i immediately said yes because i was a bit unhappy seeing how they keep caps logged in bering 24/7 ever since the event started. kindly enough, auxesian players even helped me with deciding the name before banning me from their discord
regardless of that, i still got shat on in the only fight i logged for

When people start treating lies as fact, this is an issue. Slandering isn't ok. We had people who have never interact with us before hate us, because of some particular people trying to act as a grandfather to newbies, influencing them.

I had nothing to do with those bans and didn't participate in them. I'll comb through and see what I can find.
As for your other statement,
The only caps we intended to deploy at first were a cruiser and a handful of gunboats. The gunboats were the only things you'd usually see logged - Ares, Cheimon, Viper, etc. UN Having access to their own heavy gunboat, it'd be perfectly plausible for them to field some to counter these light insurgents, with the Cepheus being the only cruiser supposed to be in the field. This was to (hopefully) attract one cruiser in response, with maybe some bombers.
Instead, we got swarmed by everything. So we upped the ante, brought a second cruiser. It wasn't enough because UN threw more, so we kept upping the ante until we reached peak missile spamming gunboats on OSC shuttles.
As for your opinion on the faction, I think we had this discussion at one point and I understand, but still disagree.

Realistically you'll "shaft" anything that logs for the Unioner side, so this is something of an idle threat. At least OSC shuttles with double MRs can one-shot your snubs as they hug nearby capitals, something that VHFs cannot. They can also tank gunboat missiles much more effectively.
Their usage is a consequence of your actions, not the cause.

These are the first three screenshots I took in Bering. Shuttles were being employed (with meme names and lacking roleplay) long before we started fielding other things.

Or instead of locking the thread after person X was able to dish out in the hope nothing can be posted to respond to, just remove everything posted after post 49, so people who aren't interested in this drama between Aux and UN/Core can still talk about the event at hand.
