RE: 2020 Mining Overhaul, Phase 1: Price and Sellpoint Adjustments - Kalhmera - 05-16-2020 Man being in this place is just getting more and move crap shoved in your face. Forcing other peoples view on how the game should be played versus how you want to play. And the get the hell out mentality is disgusting. RE: 2020 Mining Overhaul, Phase 1: Price and Sellpoint Adjustments - Karst - 05-16-2020 So I looked into Sunbucks Inc. and read that they are "[...] responsible for transporting Consumer Goods, Sunbucks Coffee & Donuts, Prisoners, Contraband, Supplies for Albany Police Academy, and VIP's looking for safe passage through Liberty." I noticed that this list doesn't make any mention of transporting unrefined bulk minerals, which isn't terribly surprising because that's something that generally dedicated shipping or industrial companies do. Like most of the others who complain here, you don't care about fulfilling any sort of lore function. If all you wanted to do was trade a lore-relevant return commodity from Bretonia back to Liberty, you should be perfectly happy trading something like Gin, or refined Gold for that matter. But really what you're saying is just "I want to minmax my profit when I'm flying my Police ID'd transport so the only thing I actually want to trade is ore." Edit: I think this change has done a solid job of identifying people that genuinely won't consider trading anything but ore because their alleged lore considerations are actually just profit considerations. RE: 2020 Mining Overhaul, Phase 1: Price and Sellpoint Adjustments - DarkTails - 05-16-2020 I don't think it's fair to tell people how to play the game and punish them for playing it their way by removing nearly every sell point for anything of value because 3 people decided it's a good idea when the rest don't. Max Sunbucks commodity then. since you want to be all high and mighty about this crappy rework you came up with. This game is supposed to be fun and enjoyable. Not everything you do is going to be Lore related. so what if LPI branches out and does some ore hauling. who gives a rats behind? Like get over yourself. There's a clear guidelines on how you are supposed to play the said faction in infocards. Whenever you follow it or not, it is your thing. But from the development point of view literally nothing has changed aside from optimizing the number trade routes, which makes mostly not trading faction upset for some reason. Coalition, Blood Dragons and LPI are quite the ones to complain about ore mining and long-distance trading. RE: 2020 Mining Overhaul, Phase 1: Price and Sellpoint Adjustments - DarkTails - 05-16-2020 You also can't claim to be "lore related" when you removed almost every lore logical trade route that made profit, but good try, hypocrite. RE: 2020 Mining Overhaul, Phase 1: Price and Sellpoint Adjustments - Shiki - 05-16-2020 I mean if BMM would complain about the gold ore route, I would understand and it should probably had to be taken into account. But liberty police faction is having zero relation to this region and economy. RE: 2020 Mining Overhaul, Phase 1: Price and Sellpoint Adjustments - DarkTails - 05-16-2020 Zoners and independents traveling and choosing to sell to unlawfuls is still logical, what's not logical is why would the unlawfuls pay more to a middle man to get what they want when they can literally have it imported themselves. Oh right, it doesn't make sense, but the developmental staff clearly doesn't care about making sense, only about telling others what to do and how to do it. Pretty sure there are sellpoints for the ores that transpassing liberty. It makes more sense for unlawfuls to import cheaper refined products to begin with. You can do that to fulfill your logical trade ideas instead of pushing for maxed out ore trading that is game mechanic to create hotspots rather than satisfy every single faction in providing maxed out trading opportunities. |
