Den of the damned - Sarawr!? - 11-23-2009 "Feh, figures that they would throw half the damned Navy at a single Battleship...I can understand why your crew didn't Mutiny now, You did what was...-right-? I think that's the term anyway...it's a good thing you stepped in then, Those sound like terrible odds, even for the Hellbound." Djinn laughed slightly. "Though somehow I can't picture a Xeno and an Outcast getting along..how'd you manage that one?" She turned to him and waited for an answer, she was genuinely intrigued now. Den of the damned - Egon Bigmemes - 11-23-2009 Saronsen smiles again, drinking from his refilled glass. "Well, the easiest way to do that is to take away anything that can be a weapon. The only weaponry we have is sealed up until an emergency arises. That, and my personal sidearm." He lifts a large hand blaster from his side, and then replaces it. "And well.. I've threatened a few trouble makers with tossing them out of the airlocks. They generally behave after that." He chuckles again. "Not everyone stays as they were when they were, as the example, a Xeno or an Outcast. Most of the Xenos weren't nearly as racist as what you get prowling Liberty daily. They just wanted a place to live. I offer anyone, as long as we have room, a place to stay for free on the Paradise. All I require is that they learn something on how to help maintain my ship, and don't cause any trouble." He starts to run a hand through his hair again. "We have fights time to time, but what community doesn't? They're mostly usually drunken fights. We have a bar that takes up an entire deck." Den of the damned - Sarawr!? - 11-23-2009 Djinn nodded intently, listening as he spoke. "Mmm, makes sense that you'd have fights every now and then, still it's impressive that you manage to keep so many people in line, I don't think I could ever manage that" "And that's why you'll never be anything more than a Slayer..." The voice repeated in her head, several times, causing her to put her hand on her forhead and grip it slightly. "Dammit...stupid thing.." She whispered quietly to herself. Den of the damned - Egon Bigmemes - 11-23-2009 Saronsen coughed suddenly before he spoke again. He looked into his hand- Blood. He simply shrugged and wiped it off with a rag that was on the counter. I'm falling apart, man.. He cleared his throat. "So how did you become a Phantom? You don't seem quite as.. Well, hateful as all the others." Den of the damned - Sarawr!? - 11-23-2009 "I don't...exactly remember what happened...But I can be just as vicious as the rest of them, I'm just not out for blood right now...and you're not giving me a reason to cause you any harm so..." She laughed softly and shrugged. "I can tell you that my name was Jasmine before, and that I was a part of the crew of that ship "The Heavy Metal Queen...Other than that, everything is kind of blurry.." She nodded slightly and picked up another glass of water that had just been put down in front of her, sipping from it slightly. Den of the damned - Egon Bigmemes - 11-23-2009 Saronsen nodded. "I've seen the Queen time to time. I couldnt've imagined that someone would've become a Phantom." He chuckles. "I've, personally, nothing against Phantoms. I've spoken with several in my time, and not once have they been after my blood. Until that day happens, they're just another person I know." He places his glass on the table and rests his head on his arm, leaning on the counter. "I think one fellow actually saw something interesting in me once, but I don't think he saw me as 'Phantom material.'" He shrugs. "Though, I've changed a bit since then. Nothing a but of medication, and the love a special.. someone can't change. Usually, anyway." He rubs his eyes again. "I was quite bloodthirsty, some time ago. I had nearly uncontrollable fits of rage almost constantly. I didn't like it too much. I got in way over my head often." Den of the damned - Sarawr!? - 11-23-2009 "Mmnh, uncontrollable fits of rage?....Well, we do like rage, but we like tame rage... She laughs softly. "Anyway, I haven't seen The Queen since I was taken from it, chances are that if I did, the encounter wouldn't end well, those who align themselves with the Junkers can't be trusted...and their blood must be taken." "Who knows though, perhaps one day you will be chosen for enlightenment, But that is something I do not know of..." She takes yet another sip from her water, letting out a soft sigh. Den of the damned - Egon Bigmemes - 11-23-2009 Saronsen sighs, somewhat loudly. "Honestly, I wouldn't want to be a Phantom. It wasn't my goal in life but, if I didn't have any other choice, and it was my only chance of survival.. Then I may accept that offer, if it was to ever come around." He half smiles "I still get upset rather quickly, despite the medication, but I know what I'm doing usually. It keeps me from acting out of anger though, and gives me time to think. Hence why I haven't gone and destroyed everything I thought was my enemy." He shakes his head, smirking. Den of the damned - Sarawr!? - 11-23-2009 Djinn laughed softly at his remark, nodding to what he said about controlling himself. "I see, I see...but surely you have not forgotten the utter pleasure of smelling the fear on your enemy, just before you end him, right?" She smirked slightly, almost playfully to Saren. "It's a great feeling, very satisfying...isn't it?" Den of the damned - Egon Bigmemes - 11-23-2009 Saronsen rubbed his chin, almost shamed to agree. Almost. "I usually wasn't always up close and personal. Most of my killing was from a distance, in my bomber or my gunship. But there were times when I was on a space station, and someone just wanted to kill me.." He chuckled, pulling a rather large blade from a sheathe that was attached to the back of his belt. "I have more than enough experience with this blade, as well with my own hands. I'm a rather poor shot when it comes to firearms, though." He smirks, replacing the blade. "I don't alwwaayysss enjoy killing someone. But I have had my moments, yes." |
