Discovery 4.85: Update 1 Released - lionel - 10-05-2009
I noticed a couple of things concerning energy recharge on two of my fighters. Switchblade and Eagle.
1) The energy recharges at 80 speed or lower. Seems slow to recharge, maybe this was desired?
2) The energy does not recharge when engine killing or thrusting.
This seems to severe as compared to other ships. I believe this may be a bug.
My bomber, transport, gun boat, and cruiser ships all recharge while thrusting and engine killing.
Overall the changes look great! Thanks for your efforts dev team!
Off to check out the new trade routes.

No, although I have now and that doesn't look right. Will look into it and/or modify the charging shortly.

Showstopper bug :
We now have complete systems where combat no longer can take place.
Fighting in Omega 41 is impossible, since the power plant does not regen there. It seems any place where there is Radiation, or limited vis, the powerplant doesn't regen the power. This is a major bug, and needs to be fixed ASAP.

If you log in and out you'll find that charging works.

You need to log out from the server and reconnect.

Having a little problem with the sound.
It's all good until I go to cruise and then drop out of it.
I then get a lot of 'static' type noise, it starts off loud and then fades, almost like weapons fire.
Going to uninstall freelancer and do it over from scratch to see if it sorts the problem and I'll edit this post.
